I mean, it could happen. Sony ain't no saint, and they've made plenty of stupid mistakes in the past. But that would be stupid at a level so profound I couldn't even find the words for it.

Is there any proof that it isn't cancelled, aside from a single tweet? It's not like Team ICO has anymore credibility than IGN here when it comes to delivering news.

What is there to actually answer? All people are doing are calling me a fanboy for a troll youtube comment I made. I'll admit that the comment was immature, but Youtube comment sections are cesspools anyway so I didn't really care at the time. The whole thing is really pathetic from people with the mentality that they uncovered "of one them" and acting like I'm the enemy.
 
Didnt the original director quit the project due to stress? What is the point of carrying on? Besides i am quite surprised making TLG is so stressful when he basically have the template with ICO and SOTC. Combined both of them and add a bit of tamagotchi and you have TLG. lolz
 
IGN's rolling back the story is godtier fuckup. Hahah, fuck yes, this is so great. Sony better show something just to rub salt in the room. If only it's a screenshot of a PS3 build 5 years ago that no one saw before.

When all is said and done, Methinks this was a false flag operation by Sony to catch a mole in their midst. Only other possibility is IGN going full clickbait, which though possible, is extraordinary. They were going to get bunch of clicks anyway within next 48 hours or so.

Even when the PlayStation Software Product Development Head for Sony Worldwide Studios America replies DIRECTLY about this rumor, and says that it is NOT cancelled.

I mean what. Are you serious? Best part, this came from the EDITOR-IN-CHIEF at IGN, Steve Butts.

I'm pretty sure the Head of Product Development for WWS knows what he's talking about. Unless Kaz himself woke up yesterday, came down and without warning decided to cancel TLG.
 
I'm seriously tired of people in the game writing (refuse to call it journalism) industry refusing to simply admit their mistakes. It's like some contagious disease with these guys where they can never admit they're wrong, and can only double down on their idiocy. I mean come on "MAY"?!?!

The argument would be that the game is vaporware at this point and they just don't want the news to taint E3 coverage. But yes, it was irresponsible of IGN and Sony's reactionwas obvious. It was an incredibly inept editorial decision they made.

no idea. i mean the only insider who i saw some stuff come true of was cboat and then the whole titanfall thing happened. i think the only properly reliable ones are matt demonite etc but they are so vague it can interpreted one way or another. And thats not even mentioning twitter uses/banned ex users etc. anyway way i see it 2 days to e3 whoo hoo :)
