I'm not saying IGN isn't at fault here, because they are. I'm saying that logical thought isn't very prevalent in the thread. The reason for IGN's fault could be many things, but it's all simplified here to "Fuck IGN".

I know where you're coming from. I'm just tired of all the shit IGN has been pulling with "false" cancellations and confirmations. Once you notice these things it gets really annoying.

Wow, I didn't realize that either. I get most of my info from Gaf, and occasionally Reddit/Twitter, but it's obvious now I've become too reliant on IGN for events like this and video content related to it. Didn't even realize all the other options in front of me. Thanks again.

Neat. Has he provided proof that TLG is coming, aside from denying IGN's article, or is everyone going to stay by their shrines for another 4 years? Because while this thread has been fun, it at least has proven that it's been way too long to go without some sort of progress.

And for anyone trying to infer any sort of IGN Defense in this post, bear in mind that I'm essentially following this post here.

Because if it really was cancelled they wouldn't have been so quick to deny it. They would have just stayed silent. And we all know Sony isn't afraid of scrapping projects. Look at what happened with Santa Monica recently.

Sony just wants to let the people down easily by making one of those videos about loving the fans, but this time it will be an apology video, saying " Sorry TLG fans, thank you for waiting for our game, greatness is coming, but not in the form of TLG. WE LOVE YOU THOUGH."

Which is why my argument that if it really IS cancelled there needs to be consequences for him is valid. No one at that level would not know the true status of the game, nor stick their neck out and say that if there was now a chance of the game being cancelled soon.
