Only ever played the Double Dash demo once. That was along time ago. One day I will play the full game. Never did get around to buying MK7 either.

Is the $10 Nintendo eShop Cards available at Canada? Probably not? I assume you can use the "Photos with Mario" app even if your eshop is set to Canada? Has anyone tried it?

My wife and me both have a Club Nintendo linked in a Family Account. If we have 2 Club Nintendo code for Mario Kart 8, can we get 2 free games?

I read you can do the sub-account to get the 2nd free game but I'm not 100% sure on this.

edit: Yeah, you can get two free games.

Thank you for contacting us with your question! It sounds like there may have been a miscommunication, but the promotion is one free game per consumer, not per household. This means multiple members of a Family Account can each register Mario Kart 8 to their individual Club Nintendo account. In that case, each person that registers their copy of the game will qualify to receive a free download code. Let us know if you have any additional concerns.

That's what I was dreading when I made the same purchase. Now more than ever I hope the next rewards batch aren't things I'd be interested in.

If Nintendo had any sense they'd offer a MK8 t-shirt to try to get us to help market the game for them. Death Stare t-shirt FTW.

I so hope the platinum reward this year is something Mario Kart related.
 
I'm quite excited for the June game selection. It always, without fail, has at least one amazing game I don't own already. Here's hoping the trend continues.

If I were to register MK8 lets say tomorrow, would that give me time to take the survey and get the coins in July?

Not entirely sure, but I don't think it's considered registered until you've done the registration survey, if you're trying to get your free game now and do the survey later. But for the free game you should be safe to download and complete the registration survey in July at this point at least.

Anything registered today will give you 30 days before it expires. It is less than 30 days until July. Feel free to register.

I only say that because the pop-up for the free game didn't come up till after I'd done the registration survey, but it's possible the free game offer would have been in my to-do list regardless. But you'll only get the extra 10 coins for early registration if you register this Club Nintendo year anyway, so I'd say it's worth registering now to get more coins . . . unless you're truly concerned about not reaching Platinum next year. At least the post-play coins and the coins from the free game you can save for next year.

I would like to know this too.

I tried searching for the app when it first launched, but found nothing. I really hope NoA doesn't screw us out of this.
 
As far as I know the Photos With Mario app is US only... :'/

I downloaded it on my US-set 3DS and I'll print out copies of the AR cards so I can check it out...

I bought MK8 digitally, still haven't filled out the registration survey, and already have the free game via pop-up. Physical may or may not work the same way, but digital MK8 definitely lets you get the free game without filling out the survey. :)
 
Anyone need a CN code to get them to Gold or Platinum? I have one available. You must take post a picture of your coins to prove you need it to get to the next level.

If I'm not mistaken, this is the longest they've taken to refresh the page (those days where the day was postponed nonstanding).

We have been down this road before when we thought they were going to totally revamp their awards when they shut down for a week.

They most likely forgot or just don't have time. They literally don't care at NOA at all.
 
any chance they reup the supply of items out of stock before june 30th? id like those zelda posters, and pretty much nothing else.
 
Where are my disappointingly free game? I wish Super Mario World came back, I realized that I'll never use these coins for anything else so stockpiling Wii U VC games I go!
 
Maybe the next rewards will be related to new games they announce at the Digital Event so they're waiting until after to release them. "A new Metroid game is coming to Wii U, but for now you can get the original Metroid for 150 coins on Club Nintendo."
Yeah, I know Super Metroid is already a reward right now.

Took them long enough.

But they weren't really worth the wait. I guess they're ending the Club Nintendo year with a whimper. And why is an NES game only 50 coins cheaper than an N64 game?

Now I'll make my predictions. Kirby Wii U and Mario Party 10 will be announced at the Digital Event.
