Looks good and I know game-play will be great cause when has it not. I'm probably in the minority with this opinion, but not feeling Keifer Sutherland to much on the voice end. Maybe it'll grow on me.

I slept through MS's conference. Was this trailer or Kojima up on stage at the MS trailer at all?

Not a chance in hell it looks like that in-game if it's cross-gen.

I fully expect an MGS4-style downgrade when this game becomes playable.

It looks more or less on par with Ground Zeroes, the character models, lighting, everything.

We've already seen from last years Red Band trailer how it segue's from cutscene to gameplay seamlessly.

We've also seen gameplay released only a few days ago that shows the in game graphics to look that good.

The MGS4 'downgrade' was due to releasing a trailer on 'supposed' specs of the PS3 that turned out to be less powerful than imagined, and when later actual in-game footage running on PS3 emerged it stayed the same right up until release.

Huh? What makes you think that? Ground Zeroes looked great. And If it wasn't cross-gen it would probably look even better.

Only reason MGS4 had a downgrade was because the PS3 specs weren't released until mid development

There's a shit load of blood. The vulture at the beginning is disturbing. Big Boss walking across a battlefield with dead bodies is messed up. Their knives being made out of ashes is very disturbing. The torture, drowning, and horn play a role in this. Blood soaked big boss is creepy. I could go on for at least another paragraph.

Yeah, because things being covered in blood happen all the time in our every day lives and there is nothing disturbing about it at all, right?

None of that stuff is disturbing when it comes to other stuff we've seen in video games or film before. Especially not vultures, blood soaked character, or battlefield full of dead bodies. We've seen all of that before in video games before. And the

I don't think it should matter if you've been exposed to it before (unless you've been desensitized to these things). Blood all over a dudes face and body is gross and you should be SOMEWHAT disturbed by the imagery. Unless you're a surgeon or an E.R. doctor or something...

So the Orwell allusions are pretty apparent. The only time I went "Damn!" and felt disturbed is when Big Boss shot that guy in the head. Kojima is really ramping up Big Boss' villain traits. Even being seen with the guy that wants him dead.
