Again, Vita TV can't play Tearaway or LittleBigPlanet PS Vita or dozens of other titles. It's a stupid name.

SCEA's absurd hatred of the Vita never disappoints. I feel for publishers like XSEED and Aksys.
Gamescom will have more indie games for Vita just like E3.

I think the best part is that one of the only new Vita games announced (Ubisoft's Tetris Ultimate) happened during Sony's pre-show stream. Even then it seemed to be an accident, and the interviewer quickly tried to focus on the PS4 version instead.

I was pleasantly surprised that SCEA didn't spend 15 minutes on #DriveClub.
I'm almost 100% convinced that TGS will be devoted towards showing Japan that their local developers know about PS4.

even with the dropped name branding, they should have just said "here's PS TV soon, here's PS Now on Vita soon, here's a minute and a half of Gravity Rush 2" and said/shown absolutely nothing else

well, whatever... LBP3 finally being shown made my year. I was so ballsdeep in LBP for years, and my twitter feed of wayward LBP'rs went bonkers. BC with LBP1/2/Hub is great too because hundreds of dollars of DLC will carry over. PS4 sold afaic.

A lot of the Vitas biggest announcements were stealth announcements

Bringing "PS TV" to the US and Europe and announcing Disney Infinity are actually two pretty big announcements, bigger than I expected.
A few people here were also freaking out about the Vita not getting indie games anymore and that was proven false as well, they showed over 40 minutes of indie games at the conference and most of them coming to Vita.
Some of you need to realize that the Vita is nearly 3 years on the market, it didn't catch on and there's nothing anyone can do about it.
Man, I really would have thought that we would of at least got the Ratchet Collection announced for Vita but NOPE, almost nothing huge from Sony coming to Vita....they even changed the name of Vita TV to PlayStation TV X(.
At least they did show off lots of Vita games....though they didn't intend to; all of those awesome indie games, Grim Fandango Vita (really surprised by this), Tales of Borderlands Vita, Disney Infinity Vita (though they didn't say if it was 2.0 or 1.0 versions) and, hopefully, more BC with PSP/PS1 games for NA/EU Vita's (people are going to buy PlayStation TV's expecting to play Crash Bandicoot.....if they can't do that then, what are you doing Sony?).
At least they could have given us a MC price drop or something?

I'm glad I'm not one of those guys that bought a Vita for "console games in the go" thing. I'm a weab gamer so I'm happy with what we got, but how SCEA is handling the Vita is unacceptable.
Not too disappointed by the conference, mainly because I went in with almost zero expectations.
I say almost because I kind of expected a Type-0 announcement after the fan translation patch went live yesterday.

I fully agree, but removing the Vita branding from the Vita TV was really a dick move.
I hate nearly everything SCEA has ever done with Vita, but at no point can I fault them for dropping that name. I fault them for bundling an iOS quality licensed game with it, though.

So I guess God Eater 2 won't be released in the west. Considering they pushed ToHR instead of it. I have no beef with tales, but I can't see B-N stealthily release one of their biggest IP now.
All pretty non-existent Vita presence aside... I'm still going to buy a PlayStation (Vita) TV when it's released.

Seeing what they have I think they've had a decent showing. I'd have put a micro-SDslot to the PS TV or a deep price cut + 64GB release. Wel, they still have a chance at GamesCom.
