Uncharted 4: A Thief's End (Naughty Dog) Shown - 2015

It's like saying the new Tomb Raider will look like in the trailer.

An example:

Anyone that doesn't think Naughty Gods are accomplishing this in real time on PS4 is ignorant/clueless. End of fuckin story.

This game is going to drop jaws and shut everyone up when it releases and people are playing it.

It's a cutscene, not actual gameplay.

Have you ever played a Naughty Dog game? The cutscenes always looked way better.

That is not really true sometimes they look worst thanks to all the artifacts from having a poor bitrate lol
Okay being serious they do look better but not by some huge amount , better lighting , models and AA in cutscenes mostly .

The thing is.. It's ND and it's a PS4, so let's at least assume the ingame, in action model WILL be fantastic ok, and you will see it from the back, at a different scale at that time. So.. Mabybe, yeah, you won't need all the wrinkles and little hair on his beard then, that would actually be fuckin' dumb to have those. But model and animation being awesome, you'll be perfectly fine with it and won't notice the transition. What's so hard to understand in that people..

No way that's 60fps or even 1080. They're going for the best visuals possible meaning 30hz and 720p. Looks fucking amazing.

Or he just played UC1-3 and TLOU on his PS3 to know what their cutscenes look like.

No question that UC4 will have the best graphics of all games, but please don't mixup cutscenes with actual gameplay graphics.

That teaser... Those graphics... I said god damn.

I can't wait for this. Just this little teaser has skyrocketed my hype to new heights. Naughty Dog will not disappoint.

This game is pretty much exactly what I thought it would be - something darker, with Nate's life at question rather than just support characters for once, the overall theme being the consequences of his thieving life finally catching up with him (a theme used throughout the entire series but never truly acted out) his luck now finally in genuine question, which is great.

The chaos at Naughty Dog was probably over whether or not Drake dies at the end. They already teased Sully's death enough times, and Elena's. The dark shadow is cast over Drake now. It's called "A Thief's End" and obviously it is alluding to Drake here, not Sully.

Why would this be his last one?
Elena died? Depression?
Nate found a way to revive Elena?
Boom, time to call Sully to help him in finding a magical temple that will take him back into time to prevent Elena's death...

I am going with this.
Unless it is something cheesy as Elena got held hostage, and he needs to do this job to free her. (I hope not)

Looks incredible but no gameplay is very disappointing.
Dialogue and title make it pretty obvious that this is the end of the road for Drake.
Surprised by the 60 fps news.

Smh at the CG debate. We know how ND does the cutscenes, do we need to go over this every time?

Too predictable. But Nate getting Elena killed is not that predictable, and more tragic for Nate.

I think Nate will die, it will be predictable but in the good "it was foreshadowed for the entire game" type of way. He will sacrifice himself to save Elena or something, or maybe Druckmann will have him straight up murdered in cold blood by the villain.

I just hope that Druckmann won’t kill the series humor. I’m all in for a more serious approach, but can’t have an Uncharted without a few laughs here and there.

Meh, typical upgraded trailer of next uncharted game.

And it's not like Druckmann and Straley don't have the easiest job right now. If U4 is great, they get the glory. If it's not, not even they could have saved the failing franchise. Win win.

Granted its just trailer that leaves a lot to speculation but

1) wasn't it heavily rumored that you wouldn't be playing as drake? Guess that's dead

2) I don't like the whole "just one more time" thing not even because it foreshadows someone dying but because wasn't that pretty much the whole crux of Uncharted 3? That he goes on these escapades while thoughtlessly putting his friends lives in danger for no real reason. Didn't he supposedly learn some shit at the end about not having to do that shit cuz he has nothing to prove? Just feels like more validation that UC3 was a bit subpar

Do like that they're going back to the jungle tho

lol
1) An Uncharted without playing as Drake would be criminal
2) Drake says he has no options or no other way around this or something. I suspect it has something to do with Elena because the way they showed that Wedding Ring on his hand.
