I REALLY hope that mods for GTA 4 like new HQ cars, weapons, character models and other wacky stuff can be ported over to GTA 5.

Yes, I didn't at all think it was exclusive to PS4, TBH his comment about transferring from X360 to PS4 was probably a gentle dig at what is happening...also I suspect some players might actually find something like that another thing that was holding them back from "switching sides".

That's just fucking gorgeous with the traffic density.
I'd be fine with native 1080p and framerate absolutely locked at 30 FPS on PS4.

Cars spawned a block ahead in Watch_Dogs. Meanwhile a fake headlights animation played in the distance to simulate extra cars. On PC. At max settings. Things like that make me sick.

Very excited to see what they do with the port. I played it last year, but didn't finish the single player campaign so I'm looking forward to that. I wasn't too impressed with the online part. It seemed to be an endless parade of griefing for teh lulz, rather than having any meaningful content. Hopefully that's improved and it has actual missions now.

As someone who loves the game and hasn't upgraded to the new gen yet, this was the most enticing thing shown.
Only Batman impressed me more.

I haven't even played GTA5 yet... but you can't do this? You could do it in San Andreas back in the day. That was fun getting the train going so fast that it came off the rails. Good times!
Anyway, I'd already wound down on getting 360 games when this came out originally, so it'll be awesome to finally play it on PC. It better be a good port, unlike GTA4.

Very happy to have finally gotten an announcement for this!. Absolutely loved it on PS3 so I cannot wait to re-experience it in all its current gen glory.
Now just to decide what platform to buy it for.. Would normally pick PC first but until I come to upgrade my system next year I'm not sure how well this will run for me tbh. Maybe I'll go with PS4 instead for now and grab PC in a sale later down the road, will see. Excited either way!

This was another announcement that caused mass cheering at the movie theatre event. Extremely glad I held out for the PS4 version. This will undoubtedly carry me to the Order 1886 launch.

This is why I returned my PS3 copy way back when before getting too far in the game. Loved it, but just knew it would be on PS4. So, this is more like a remaster and not just a straight port?

Can't wait for this, always willing to double dip for GTA. Only played through the story once so will be up for another romp.
Interesting thing I noticed is that near the end of the trailer the interior shot of the car had 'working' dials (rev & speed). Hope that means a 1st person view similar to Watch Dogs.

So glad I never really got into GTA5 on the old consoles, will get this.
Damn, fell asleep last night, really a shame I missed this live. But yeah, it was only a matter of time, will be instantly going for the PC version. GTA V is one of those games I'd never play on ancient PS360 hardware, with all the technical shortcomings, from bad performance to ugly visuals.
