I liked Nintendo's conference the best. Wish we had seen some Zelda gameplay and maybe some Xenoblade Chronicles, but overall it bested expectations.
Forearm guards are really low poly. Can't say I agree with the texture assessment, but saying low poly is true. Those forearms would be considered low poly on the PS3. Considering how everything else gels to create a gorgeous image I can look over it.boy, you cray.
I think it's worth saying that why would I care much for third party multiplats on Wii U? I would get those on PC anyway.
First party is where its at in Nintendo
Like I said earlier. I don't think Zelda has ever had a CG trailer. Everything has always been in-engine even cutscenes.
It's on Nintendos YouTube.Missed the direct. I guess it's too soon for it to be uploaded to YouTube?
I was referring to Yoshi's Wooly World.
How the fuck is Yoshi a LBP rip off?![]()
Man, Reggie said the IGN interview there more things to come in the next few days. I can't wait.
The weirdest and most amazing part was Iwata vs Reggie. That was glorious.

Low poly and bad textures saved by a toon shader... meh.
The gameplay and overall look and feel give me that impression.
Just realized, no FE X SMT. I guess thats understandable, sounds like something they would reveal near TGS time.
The gameplay and overall look and feel give me that impression.
Just imagine what the creative minds of Nintendo Softworks could bring up, if they actually had quality consoles with a proper infrastructure to work with.
I'm not port-begging or anything, I don't want to play any Nintendo games at the moment, I just watched the Direct to see what the future held for the Big N, and apparently their holding on to the past with the only fresh breeze being Splatoon coming out next year. IMHO, they were better off just stopping the HOME console business and moving on. They can still produce handhelds, as they're actually quite good in that regard, and could even broaden their market share by going third-party for home consoles. Have a home console game like Zelda, which is not too well know amongst the masses, get introduced to the mainstream that are playing on PS4 and Xbox One, and make them buy your exclusive portable console to keep the experience going, on the go. So yeah, this direct just further confirmed my opinion that Ninty should go Thirdy.

The game is open world junior.
Gotta sacrifice some things.
See, this is why I give the edge to Sony. All conferences had the same 2014 schedule (2 big exclusive games). People moan about CG Uncharted when we got CG Zelda. I liked what we got out of the conference, but Yarn Yoshi went on for way too long and we knew about most of the games coming. Overall, 2014 was pretty week. That being said, E3 2015 is going to be awesome!
That gameplay core is exactly the same as it's been since SNES and couldn't be further than LBP
Have you actually played an LBP game?
You could say the same thing about Sony and Microsoft and claim that everyone should just develop for PC instead. No matter how you twist it, what you're doing is the same as port-begging but on a massive scale.Just imagine what the creative minds of Nintendo Softworks could bring up, if they actually had quality consoles with a proper infrastructure to work with.

Admittedly I managed to miss Yoshi's Island back then, but you're telling me it has featured extensive environmental interaction (e.g. creating platforms, destroying walls) since SNES?
