E3 2014 | Nintendo Treehouse Live @ E3 [ it's over :( ]

Nintendo is making the complete gaming media obsolete for Nintendo game footage, I love this.

not that gaming media is really interested in Nintendo anyway

Is he scheduled? Chance of more Zelda?

Yep!

This got me thinking. I'm also watching it non stop, and I guess a lot of people are as well. And other places with streams and stuff won't be getting these views. They must be a little bit bitter hat Nintendo is stealing viewers from them =P

It's not like Nintendo left everyone else out to dry either.
The Devil's Third reveal was on IGN, the Smash Invitational is on Twitch, there are various demos on Twitch, and I think Reggie said there'll be more stuff on IGN throughout the day or something as well.

Big upvote for the treehouse format, I've been having a great time these last few hours. Cool presenters having fun, being the right kind of informative, without actively trying to sell you the game. gg nintendo

I love how when Nintendo decided to change things up with E3 last year and so many thought they were crazy, i don't want to see the live shows go but that coverage after on this Tree House coverage has been awesome.

Spending a hell of a lot of time with this game.

A true indepth journalistic look at these titles are coming from the people making them or directly involved with them. We've been watching these people play, talk about, and fuck up in these games.

It's pure marketing for Nintendo, but more importantly it's really honest marketing. We're seeing these games with warts and all. It is a thing of beauty.

Treehouse at e3 needs to become a thing every company does at e3 going forward

Forget on-stage demos, give me these nice detailed looks at games, explaining the systems and all that

Fantastic so far can't say anything else this is truly the nintendo magic bringing it to our home screen from E3.

wow very impressed by the show so far keep up the great work!

Can I just say, I love this coverage?

They're basically taking the Nintendo Direct format in a live-streaming marathon, and I think it's awesome.

It's a better approach than 2 minute cinematic teasers. Here's the game. Here's how it plays.

BTW, Nintendo has had the entirety of E3 to themselves on the 2nd day. Smart move not to pack themselves into Monday with everyone else.
