E3 2014 | Nintendo Treehouse Live @ E3 [ it's over :( ]

A true indepth journalistic look at these titles are coming from the people making them or directly involved with them. We've been watching these people play, talk about, and fuck up in these games.

It's pure marketing for Nintendo, but more importantly it's really honest marketing. We're seeing these games with warts and all. It is a thing of beauty.

Wasn't complaining, just saying.

Its funny becuase they have tried to do this types of things on a much smaller scale with devs on ign or gametrailers and they always failed becuase they seemed so forced, like the devs were not comfortable with them. Here is the totally opposite.

Treehouse at e3 needs to become a thing every company does at e3 going forward

Forget on-stage demos, give me these nice detailed looks at games, explaining the systems and all that

Make it a 24 hour TV channel. It can be my work background. After this I need more gaming TV.

You know I'm really impressed with how little downtime there's been between games as well. Other than the delay after Splatoon for Miyamoto the transitions have been lightning quick.

Wow, even though it's not exactly a graphically showcase Hyrule Warriors looks like it'll give the people who wanted the HD Twilight Princess environments what they asked for.

They also probably have a tighter schedule. This has a schedule but each game has a comfortable amount of time. Nothing seems rushed.

Midna

This game has gotten a huge improvement graphically over the first trailer

This will hold me off until Zelda WiiU as far as playing as Zelda Characters go

Musou games are really fun when you care about the source material.

For example, One Piece Musou is gdlk because I fucking love One Piece

Sorry... there's just a part of me that can't believe Nintendo is doing this. It just seems antithetical to Nintendo's MO. They've always loved to control every aspect of a games development. Including public perception. This approach can show blemishes that may not have been intended.

If this doesn't become the standard going forward nobodies copying Nintendo in the right places.
