E3 2014 | Nintendo Treehouse Live @ E3 [ it's over :( ]

Welp, here I am during Miyamoto's roundtable lol

Is there a schedule or we know the games in the way they are presented?

I missed all of today's broadcast. Is there anything I should watch? If so, how do I access twitch archives?

so what are expectations for tomorrow? obviously not megatons but and minitons?

Well Treehouse mentioned at the end of today's stream we'd see STEAM and games that haven't been demoed in the Treehouse yet tomorrow.

I would think Devil's Third would be there if we already have gameplay trailers.

"New games" could just refer to a new batch of indies. Matter of fact I expect tomorrow to start off with a batch of indies like today did. I may be wrong but all of the first party games other then Devil's Third, Zelda, Star Fox and STEAM have now had extensive demos.

Possibly Sonic Boom? Fossil Fighters? Layton vs. Ace Attorney?

Although I'm not EXPECTING them to be there Zelda and Star Fox COULD be there as finales to E3. Star Fox has a playable build. Don't know if Zelda does or not but if it's a 2015 game then it might.

All I know is that amiibos are compatible with Mario Kart 8, and there's Mercedes DLC coming (Japan only I think).

I too, hope we get some DLC tracks/characters, battle arena...

I just want them to go "Look, we're listening to your feedback and are going to release a patch. We will also be putting in proper battle arenas."

Just acknowledge the game.

What I think I've finally seen with Nintendo this E3 is a full paradigm shift from the old guard to new young developers and other employees.

You'd think that after Reggie came out and called out Treehouse for not acknowledging Tomodachi Life and that whole spiel about "moving on and forgetting what we just put out" they'd say something, even a little bit to what they have out right now.

Naw it not star fox it is far to early to shoe it to the public. I could see it being zelda since they far enough in development for a playable build to exist, and because they haven't uploaded that trailer to youtube or the eshops.

Silly question, but when/how did we find out they're reading GAF? Or is it just assumed they have their eyes on the internet at large?

Aquamarine once said that people in NoA read NeoGAF, so I considered that maybe Audrey Drake who previously worked at IGN would know about NeoGAF (she is now an NoA employee). But in this case, in this thread, a poster posted a comment directed at one of the presenters, and the response (via Twitter) was what one could expect for a comment like that. We may feel like a small community of people but there's many eyes that are watching, it's good to remember that, because we may be enabling each other to be offensive without knowing it until it's too late.

Yep! I'm reminded about some of Shikamaru-Ninja's posts about Miyamoto. I'm seeing what you see too. Nintendo will need to have a new creative face, and it seems the way they're doing that is by showcasing many different creative faces rather than one. I get the sense that crafting games will be the life's work, and the pride, of these employees.

Star Fox is supposedly a 2015 game like Zelda and Bill Trinen tweeted earlier that Miyamoto has been playing the game ie. there's a playable build.

When did this happen? Have I missed something?

A few minutes before they switch games Nintendo announces the next game on their twitter account.
Thanks! I was hoping to see a schedule and try to catch Sakurai...

BTW, they people that are on the computers in left side of the stage are checking social media and forums, one was in NeoGAF the whole day xD

More fights from today's treehouse stream!

Oh Nintendo, I have missed you! Just catching up on the stream and news and it has made my next gen choice quite a bit more complex. Was set on PS4 but the focus on fun, creativity and colour by Nintendo has me conflicted. It is great to see a strong showing without relying on a predictable pile of sequels. Anyone know the best place to get a 3DS specific recap of what was announced?

Right in the OP, though it hasn't been updated with today's announcements.

Have they done a demo of Pokemon yet?

So what was the new 3DS title? Couldn't watch it since it was in the middle of the night and I don't see anything about it on the video.

I just saw the blow job joke during the Treehouse live stream. Between that and the dead grandma joke, I think Nintendo's Treehouse employees are getting tired and losing their on camera discipline. Funny stuff.

Happen to have a time stamp? I missed the BJ joke lol.

On Day 2, before Shovel Knight, they also had devs over to show off Affordable Space Adventures, which was pretty cool actually.
