E3 2014 | Nintendo Treehouse Live @ E3 [ it's over :( ]

Apparently the LA Times thinks that the PS4 is a Nintendo product:

Is that shopped? That's horrible reporting if not - even aside from the headline, look at the headers of what the article focuses on - an announcement of Pac-Man in SSB, Ubisoft and Women, the White PS4, and whether Sony "won". As if that summarizes E3.

Like, that whole discussion about whether people prefer "the press" to feed them information or to get it directly from the source - this is why I prefer these Treehouse feeds over summaries from media outlets. Give me information from someone who actually knows what they're talking about. Yes, it's marketing and PR, but I can filter opinions for myself - if someone on Treehouse is telling me a game is really fun, but what I'm seeing on screen doesn't look fun, then it's not going to work. I really prefer that over having some reporter telling me the highlights of E3 are what appear to be a random grab-bag of topics from the front page of NeoGAF.

It's almost time for the final day of Treehouse Live. The stream went up a few minutes ago. Had to sign in to confirm my age on YouTube. I didn't have to do that the first day, but did on the second day, the day they talked about Bayonetta.

So the question is, if today is the day we get to see Star Fox Wii U, just what direction did Miyamoto take it in???
Devil's Third is more likely.

He's already said it's too early to show it. They basically just have mechanics down and a bunch of crappy placeholder textures and models in the demo...

Devil's Third is more likely.

I saw Itagaki talking about it on IGN on day one. I don't think my mind can handle the reality of Nintendo Treehousers talking about it. I always figured IGN got the scoop on Devil's Third because Nintendo didn't want it in the main attraction. But it might be in it, so now I don't know why they waited this long.

Nintnedo gave Bayo the spotlight

So, how realistic is it to expect some big announcements today?

Not really. Codename STEAM was the only bit bit of news yesterday, and we knew that was coming for weeks.

The Treehouse stream hasn't really been all about reveals. It's more going into detail and depth on stuff we already know about. The exception was Miyamoto's appearance, even if that was leaked beforehand.

Judging by how they handled Skyward Sword I don't think we'll see Zelda U again this E3, but I can't help but expect them to show a little bit more.
