E3 2014 | Nintendo Treehouse Live @ E3 [ it's over :( ]

Traditionally they don't do a fair amount of PR/presenting. Nate Bhildorff did a few Metroid: Other M interviews, and Bill Trinen is usually in the spotlight as Miyamoto's interpreter but he's former Treehouse staff. But other than that, I can't think of many examples of Treehouse members being used for PR. That's why this Treehouse: Live thing is so cool; it's literally the first time many of these people have been in front of a camera to talk about the games they are working on.
PR isn't their job description, but I definitely recognize most of these people. I remember Nate showing off Sticker Star at E3. The Mario vs. DK guy from yesterday showed off DKC:TF, I think and a lot of the others have been in various videos on Nintendo's YouTube channel. Love the Treehouse streams, nonetheless!

Have just been given a horrible job to do just before leaving work (it is 6pm here in London) this treehouse stream is the only thing keeping me going. Really like the look of fantasy life has gone from no way to probably must have!

I'll be incredibly disappointed if this isn't an E3 staple for them going forward. Sony and MS would be wise to adopt something similar but I think they like the media fellatio too much.
Forget E3, if they can just sit down for half an hour every once in a while about games around release dates, I won't need any other gaming Youtube channel

Honestly all the Tree House people they've put up here are so likable and well-spoken that I'd love a weekly a TreeHouse podcast. Make it happen Nintendo!

Fan interaction would be nice next time, like being able to tweet questions and such during the event. But they definitely have got to keep doing this. Imagine next year getting some trailers for Zelda and Star Fox and then getting to see them actually playing the games after the Digital Event or whatever their main thing is next year.

A quick glance at some posts in this thread and the Twitch chat tells me that fan interaction is a terrible idea.

I don't know what it is but Level-5 games always immediately speak to me.

This is a good idea. I'm surprised this doesn't exist already?

I really hope they continue this format for E3, at the very least. Such a great meld of personality here. I haven't been able to stop watching at all.

Imo both Sam and Audrey could be hosting directs and keep both the quality and wackiness of the show while modernizing it.
I loved the Treehouse and all the guys involved did an awesome job.

Man, fuck that Twitch chat! I've had to turn it off every day of the Treehouse because it's so annoying. My eyes kept moving to it and I'd see one awful comment after another.

I've been interested in FantasyLife since I heard someone on 8-4 talk about it. The game looks pretty good and I had no idea Nintendo was localizing it. I wonder why Level 5 didn't do it, but I'll take a Treehouse localization. Hopefully it becomes a hit.

i think a podcast would be a bit too limited

i see no reason why they couldn't just regularly stream playing upcoming games like this from the office. like don't just limit it to e3, call it a treehouse quicklook and do it monthly or whatever.

I'm watching the Youtube Stream and the comments are disabled, which is a God send. What are they saying on Twitch?

if I talk some friends into getting this with me, I might just be sold on this. Looks fun as hell.

I like this idea.
Perhaps you should make a thread and rally up some people, maybe create a hashtag for Twitter or a post people can like on Miiverse, make it popular, and maybe Nintendo will see it.
