I hope to see Takamaru but I think he isn't going to be in the game. I found it weird since you have to consider the fact that he have been in 4 games after Breawl got released.

Of course there is. It's just that instead of having variations of her default special moves her customizations are completely unique.

Yeah, There are Vanilla/Default Palutena that we can used for random online mode. I didn't meant to leave it out. Sorry!
This page implies she has a default moveset, as only Mii is unavailable in "With Anyone" mode.
She'll likely have a default set of moves and all the others are just obtained via custom parts like with every other character who uses custom move variations.
I love that "why are you here Starfy?" is still a thing with people other than me

Has anyone seen Pit get the Hammer or Golden Hammer item? I want to know if he still has his old animation for that, that was one of my favorite Kid Icarus references in Brawl.

I think I might have figured out the 3DS select screen layout. (Even if I havent, what Im left with somehow makes sense.)
First, lets take a trip back to 2007. The E for All demos select screen seemed random at the time, but in actuality, none of the characters were moved in the final version. They were all ordered exactly the same. The E for All build was from three months before Brawls Japanese release, and the 3DS version of Smash Bros. releases in three months from now.
That brings us to now: the 3DS select screen from E3. Inserting new character tiles between the demo characters gives us

Speaking of DLC I really hope you can get DLC chars on one game and use them on both your 3DS and WiiU copies. Generally eShop content doesn't work across systems and games but it really should for Smash Bros.

Yeah, really disappointed with that one. Also not loving Mario's final Smash still being crazy weak.
I know. I find it funny since the star rod itself wasn't in the demo from what i've seen.

I would not at all be surprised if this turns out to actually be the final roster. Sad to see Lucas cut - I'd rather they cut either Wolf or Falco because two reps for Star Fox and Earthbound is better than Earthbound getting shafted and Star Fox keeping all its reps. With Star Fox U on the horizon, however, there's no way that'll happen.
At first, I thought it would be good on small stages where there's nowhere to run, but those little stars it shoots out look like they have about as much power as a Mr. Saturn.

I read on GameFAQs that two other SmashBoards members mentioned Chunky Kong as well, but I can't be bothered to track the posts down (if they even exist).

I'm thinking it might be a case of mistaken identity and a bit of playing telephone like some of the early impressions of Brawl at E for All. There were all sorts of Assist Trophy claims backed up by nothing that ended up not being true.
I saw these posts. They're in a pinned topic with confirmed information for the game. The guy was at Best Buy and had a lengthy explanation on how he was shown.

Plus going from how expressive everyone was in their Uprising portraits to her barely moving her face and her model seems fairly low quality, reminds me of the characters barely changed from Brawl models like Fox rather than top quality models of the other newcomers.

He just seems like the absolute last DK character I'd expect Sakurai to feature as an AT, besides maybe Kiddy. Dixie/Cranky/K. Rool/Stanley/Funky or even Lanky would've been more relevant.
Wouldn't surprise me if it's a case of mistaken identity though.
Yeah I thought so too. Then I realized that basically every pokemon "talks" in the anime. Which is basically what he's doing in this game, just saying his name or grunts or whatever.
