Did you not see that someone had to put a gif of the newest build in the op to prevent another batch of kneejerk reactions from insane people who would somehow manage to take jumping to conclusions to the 6th Dimension? Conspiracy theories and all that shit.
People still don't believe this is a collaboration between sony's Japan Studio and Fromsoftware. How are these people not going to complain? People have a resistantance to being informed and are not going to get reasonable any time soon.

I actually do like that there are lighter areas in the Souls games. It gives a greater impact to the darker areas when you get there.

Like coming up for light at Firelink Shrine after a long, hellish dive into the Catacombs and Tomb of the Giants. That is a really glorious, almost emotional experience.

If its dark the entire time, it can still be cool, but it doesn't provide that depth in experience and sense of journey.

I love the little bit of sunlight when you meet Solaire right before the bridge with the drake. It's like a little bit of tranquility right before you get your ass burned.

Hitboxes will probably be great, but that GIF proves nothing.
Invincibility frames much.
 
combat looks like it'll be much faster paced than dark souls. think i can dig that. Not sure I could do another slower paced game.

I think a lot of people's problem was that the lack of i-frames in DkS2 if you didn't level adaptability started to reveal a lot of hitbox problems.

Different times of day and weather conditions have been confirmed.
 
Creature and enemy design looks great and it looks exactly like the other souls games gameplay wise.

Also the bell thing has got me really interested in how the game will work. Having enemies gather when a bell randomly goes off could be cool or having canon fodder foes runaway when the bell rings to be replaced with a random boss encounter would be brilliant. Hype rising.

I really don't know what else to say. Combat looks on point, art direction is right in my wheelhouse... And we weren't even meant to see this stuff.

In general I'm against preordering things, but I will have no problem throwing any and all money I can gather at this game as soon as possible. The only thing that might make me wait is the prospect of a CE physical copy with an art book.

The combat is so fast, the dodges, the sidesteps, the HUEG axes!
Also, the atmosphere is completely unmatched. I want to get engulfed by this game.

I think those places will be 'rare'. Kind of like Aerith's garden in Midgar 'rare'.

Even the outdoor locations seem to be void of anything green. It's autumn, trees losing their leaves. Everything breaths the theme of death.

I made the right choice for game of the show.

I don't understand... why didn't Sony show this at their conference. Would have sold every clueless scrub sitting in one of those movie theaters.

It's crazy. I need all three consoles. Nintendo+Platinum, Kamiya+Phantom Dust, Bloodborne.
