Me too :)

That's mine too. I love it. Ended up getting a bunch of questions about it from people I got teamed with in Strike.

Alpha has left a very good impression, certainly won't be cancelling my pre-order! Actually I can't wait to get my hands on the full version of the game soon!

The atmosphere of the destroyed, fallen world is really well depicted even in the short Alpha build.

Three differently classed characters. Around 5-7 hours put into each of them. Likely more on the first time round.

I see great things for this games future! :) Can't wait for the beta even more now!

So in the 4 hours I got to play (borrowed my friend's PS4 last night, I might need to buy one sooner than I was expecting) I have to say, besides the crucible, I really like the game. Movement, shooting and overall feel are all pretty satisfying. Can't wait for the beta.

Looking at the later upgrades to the Titan, they are going to be real juggernauts once fully leveled.

I still feel I'll go with Titan first in the beta/retail since I feel most people will be Warlocks and Hunters.

So I've been having problems with my wireless headset, so much damn interference for no reason. Im thinking of trading it in for a pair of Tritton Kunai, anyone use these before?

Is there any word on being to able to transfer your stats from the Beta to the final game? If not, I might just skip. The Alpha sold me on the game, but I don't think I want to grind these early levels over and over again.

There is no reason for there to be so many different ships you can buy unless they eventually let you fly them in space.

I still have hope of that aspect being in the game at some point. I mean ... its cool to have a new ship to look at during the 15 second load screens. But otherwise ... there has to be more reason to it.

Holy fuck, I didn't realize Destiny cost €69.99. It's very expensive. It's even the same price on the PSN Store, even for PS Plus users. I don't see any reason to buy it there, might as well get the physical disc.

1 strike, 1 mission, one zone, 1 mode, 2 maps. 3% sounds about right.

You are setting yourself up for disappointment then.

That "one zone" is larger than three missions of Halo stitched together. If that only accounts for 3% of the areas, I'd be absolutely flabbergasted. I know this game had a huge budget, but some people's expectations in this thread are a little off base.

It's going to be interesting to see what Bungie can come up with in their strike. Just how complex can the boss encounter become when there's no dedicated healer or true tank class? The titan is the closest thing to a tank since he's got a defensive super, but we will see. Bosses will eventually devolve into hitting and dodging powerful strikes since there's no healing outside of letting the shield and health recharge once you do take a hit.

It looks like later on skills are more interesting, like the Titan has some kind of shield. If control options like flashbangs are meaningful it could still be pretty interesting, no direct healing but providing cover or control could effectively be the same thing giving shields time to recover. More interesting than a healing gun IMO.

That's kind of silly. It won't really be a grind when there are more than 1 story mission, 1 strike, and 1 free roam area, and you actually start from the beginning of the game.

Think the starting ship isn't interplanetary? The ones you can buy are, which give you access to the other locations.

Anyone know why I have no seen a single person in town or in the field yet?

Like, these areas just will not populate.

This has been the case with me. Not so much while i'm out in the world. But the tower wasn't populated when i first went there. It WAS populated the second time, but since then across all 3 characters i end up having the tower to my self.

What do you guys feel about the option to hide the helmet? I think player characters become more personal if you can see their actual faces.

Who said that? I doubt it...

Considering we only know of 5 locations. Earth, Mars, Venus, The Moon and The Reef

I'd say it's a lot more than 3%.

There is Europa too. Who knows how much more area there is on Earth. I think its possible.

Where'd you hear that?

I just read this post. Thought someone knew something I didnt.

I'm having so much fun with just this 3% of the full game available to me -- I fear for my sleep once the full game lands.

God I pretty much did all I can in this alpha. Haven't played a game since Last of Us on PS3 so this has been the first in a while that's got me hooked.

I want to be able to toggle helmet myself during play like Mass Effect. Want to see my Exo's face so bad.

i like the idea of giving players an option. i prefer to wear my helmet though. i play a hunter and the styles are pretty damn cool. so if there was an option i would opt to wear my helmet.

I would like it, but at the same time, the downgrade in faces from character creator to in-game make me think I'll just keep the helmet on.

Still, options are good.

I think the only game I'm anticipating until Destiny is The Last of Us: Remastered. Long 3 month wait. Brutal Summer drought. :(
I'm also looking forward to Metro Redux but yeah, this alpha is going to make the wait brutal. Thankfully the beta is coming up in July

Well that's me done with the alpha now. Had a great time. Crucible is getting tough now people are levelled up and know the maps/tactics. But still good fun.
