Curitiba is the coldest city in Brazil, it was like 5C two weeks ago and now its between 25-30C. The city is known for its crazy/varying temperatures (I know because I live here lol). They added the grass when it was cold but the climate fucked it up in the week that followed by going up 25C. :lol The organizers had to import this artificial light thing for the grass so that they could maintain an environment for it to grow properly.
