I have now fully bathed in the healing waters of Sony. I bought a PS3 yesterday for my living room (for the BluRay and Netflix/Amazon Prime capabilities) which means that in the past 8 months I've purchased a Vita, PS4 and now a PS3.

The holy trinity is now complete.

What? As a hunting game, no way. Maybe if you enjoy boring, repetitive quests that send you out to kill stupid numbers of grunts. Ugly visual style as well, looks cheap. Not worth it when there are so many better hunting games on the system with more coming.

Even then, if you want aerial attacks just get God Eater Burst or import GE2. RO is so bad.

To be frank, for me SS Delta is so far beyond any competition that I don't know why anyone would play anything else. This includes the original SS and every Monster Hunter.

Anyone picking up Sorcery Saga and is interested in the DLC should be aware that you need an online connection to even use it. So if you're always near wifi, it shouldn't be a problem but if you actually plan on to play it on the road you should avoid them.

If there's any physical carts out there that have Atoi instead of Iota on the icon or game card, I will have to find one. I know the game had reversible cover art, and I believe the initial plan was to stock it with both options in order to have equal market appeal/representation... but I don't think that ever panned out.

Have you tried manually moving the save from one file to the other on your PC? (ie, back up the content from the physical and digital copies to the PC, then dig through the files to find the saves and swap 'em out?)

Despite owning the PC version for years, I could never really get into Minecraft. Now I've been playing the PS3 version nonstop and can't wait for the Vita release. I agree with everyone who's said it before: Sony needs to release a Minecraft Vita bundle.

I'd say Kairosoft is to fmc as legos are to lego mindstorms. Don't let that put you off though, I think the depth of fmc is unparalleled on the vita, as I don't see many strategy games that can compare. The buying and selling of players is addictive as well. I just think that the delay or slowness of the transitions is going to be offputting to new players.oSo I'd say if you're new, pick it up at $20, but at $40 hold off. Hell, I couldn't pull the trigger at $40(was very close though), but saw it randomly on sale for $20 and bought it immediately.

interested in how you plan on playing online. I was going to import it also but will wait on people if they can combine the digital version icon or my digital american online pass (yes im hoping they copied and pasted US version into the cart).

As far as I can tell, no. I don't have any Delta-specific DLC I can check to see if it's like baekshi is wondering. I can get patches at least. When I try to install any SS DLC it looks for vanilla SS.

I expected that anyway. I figure Delta will be $10 digital at some point, and I can always pick that up if I'm into the game enough. I never really got into online on the original either, then just ended up waiting for this one to play through.

I'm going to have similar problem with DLC or download codes for other UK stuff, too, but oh well. It would be hilarious if play-asia sold Up Your Arsenal & Sly 3 as standalone games someday.

Soul Sac is the hunting action game to play. Only one that ever made me interested in the genre.

It's still worth it if you've got people to play splitscreen with. Otherwise the singleplayer is kind of meh imo.

If anyone is interested, Transformers: Rise of the Dark Spark was developed by the team behind Loadout an upcoming PS4 shooter. Loadout's had some positive reception so I'm hoping the TF game will be satisfactory. Note that you CAN play as Cybertron versions of some of the characters like Grimlock.

Waited until the patch downloaded to see what the "Download" button in the menu lead to. It does allow me to import my save from my vanilla SS save, but that might end up causing problems. I'm not sure yet.

You won't be able to play online. The R3 copy comes with the online pass for the R3 PSN Store and your registered account is probably one for North America, which is R1. You're locked into single-player, unless you make another account with an asian address.

Good to know, and yeah, no worries, I expected that going in. I just wanted to post the screens to clarify what happened for anyone unsure. I'm ok playing solo and will probably start a new game since it's been so long.

Its combat is fast-paced and gives you a variety of spells to take down enemies with. The lore and monsters are the best I've seen in any hunting game.
