The budget Scamco/Nintendo has for Smash alone wipes out all those games in terms of time and money.

You do realize, it's being developed for two platforms right?

Yeah i didn't count the Wiiu version.

Remakes are only good or real games and count if they're not on Vita, though.

Crisis Core was a bad game.

It saved the PSP during its pre-Monhun days, but not by virtue of being a good game.

With that said, Square Enix really hates money for having never re-released it on digital. I will never understand that.

Not really. It's a fact that it's the biggest buyers remorse I've ever had for a system. It's a fact I haven't touched the 3DS in god knows how long. It's a fact that the system is a disaster as far as offering games I care about goes. Which part of my post was hyberbole?

It's just completely ridiculous to say that games like Freedom Wars, etc. have higher budgets than whatever Nintendo shits out.

If Freedom Wars had a higher budget than Smash or Pokemon, then I hope to god that thing sells 400K+ week one so they can break even. Otherwise, SCEJ is in deep shit.

Crisis Core is alright for the battle system alone.

Going by your standards the PS4 would be the biggest disaster to me since the N64, since I don't like any games on the system except for Destiny coming. (I don't have a PS4, this is just an example). Yes, that is hyperbole calling the system a disaster.

Not really. It IS a disaster to me. It may not be in the grand scheme of things, but as far as games I want to play goes it absolutely is. And yes you would be within your rights to consider the PS4 a disaster if there's no games coming that you care about.

It doesnt take some source checking to see its a big budget game.
Its being made for 2 platforms with help from a major 3rd party developer. It has unique modes for each platform. It has separate stages for each system. It has a fairly big online component. It has cameos from major characters that probably didnt come cheap. Hell i wouldnt be surprised if the money that cost to secure Megaman and Sonic cost more than Oreshika 2's budget (i'm half kidding here)

Also there is Amiibo which is tied to Smash as well.

Anyways i dont want to stay OT in this thread so ill stop here. Freedom Wars, Oreshika, and GR2 will be great games and i'm not knocking them in any way. But its silly to think that they would ever cost more than Smash

I'll stop here. But to think that a flagship fighting game spearheaded by Nintendo with major assitance from Namco costs way much cheaper to make than Gravity Daze is simply ridiculous.

It's like saying SMT has a higher budget than Final Fantasy because they offer an experience that FF doesnt.

That being said, i absolutely can't wait fro Gravity Daze 2. Will be getting it day one for the JP and US release

It's fun for a few hours but I couldn't bother playing to completion. It just becomes very very repetitive early on.

I honestly can't remember the slightest bit about the story. I'm sure it's ok. But I really can't imagine it carries / justifies the game.
