Higher level cap too.More content than the Alpha, thats all we know.
Someone mentioned that characters might carry over to the game, but I'm not sure if it is true yet, so don't get your hopes up.

Since we were all Alpha testers, has anyone put together a list of things we'd like to see in the final version? I've seen a bunch of suggestions that don't sound like they'd be terribly difficult to implement, like having the ghost's voice come out of the controllers speaker. I'm sure they already have a roadmap and would disregard most of the list (or some things we come up with are already in motion), but it couldn't hurt to have an official neogaf list of demands.
...
- Roaming patrols in free-roam mode
- More damage feedback on larger enemies
- Have enemies respawn more slowly in free-roam mode
- Remove ADS
- More varied beacon quests
- More substantial loot
?
- less or no Autoaim
- more public events
- Chatoptions

After all the time I spent with the Alpha, I never noticed any significant aim assist.
I like both of these.
- Ghost voice through controller speaker
- Touchpad gestures for summoning the speeder
Lol, dont remove ads Bungie. Just remove non ads accuracy reduction.
Ghost through controller speaker is an amazing idea though.
I don't understand the ADS hate. Must be a Halo player thing. I'm perfectly happy with the ADS system and scope upgrades.
I really only notice it with the knife.I noticed it a lot with my scout rifle. Reticule would bounce to and fro on certain groups of Fallen as they would pop in and out of cover or run around eachother.

I find this worrying. New thread? Is this what they mean when they said they have managed to get the XB1 version up to 1080p? By reducing the framerate on BOTH versions:

More touchpad support (using sparrow and items etc)
I'd like to have this one:
But I guess you need to have a guy holding a gun on the cover.![]()
Big asd Loot indicator would be nice, it's so easy to miss on the ground.
I don't entirely agree with this. On a conceptual level, it wouldn't require much tinkering to remove it.YES! (Minus removing ADS. Gunplay is based around it in Destiny.)
Because they want the experience to be the same on all platformsI for the life of me can't figure out why they didn't allow you to control the "circle menu cursor" with the pad... it almost seems like it was designed for it, doesn't it?!
Oh does it? never noticed, having too much chaotic fun lol.Doesn't loot you miss just get mailed to you? I had a piece of gear show up once that said something to the effect of being a lost item.
Now that Im obssesed with Destiny after the Alpha Im researching everything, that Traveler is just fascinating, fascinating...
:O

Remove ADS or improve hip fire accuracy.
The reason why people don't like ADS is because it clashes with the chaotic nature of Bungie's combat here. With ADS you're forced to slow down, but at the same time the gameplay is very unpredictable and Bungie has given you fantastic mobility options in order for you to navigate your way through the combat. You can't really take full advantage of the combat or your maneuverability options (jumping while firing) if you have to aim down the scope of your rifle..
You don't HAVE to use ADS if you don't like it. No reason to remove it so people that like it can't use it.
Well, when you zoom in, it changes your scope's HUD.But what would it do to all the weapon customization? A lot of which are new optics?
I disagree. You have to use it to be accurate at medium and long range. There's really no choice there. The more mobility options you have the more meaningful the decision whether to ADS or not IMO.

ADS needs to stay. Guns have sites... If I am Shooting a rifle across a courtyard im going to use a site. Destiny plays well without ADS for close encounters. Like it should.
Wanting no ADS is bizzaro world.
This isn't the case. If you wanna be accurate at medium-long range, you *do* have to use it.You don't HAVE to use ADS if you don't like it. No reason to remove it so people that like it can't use it.
First one is concept art, second one isn't.
The second one is taken from a vidoc if I recall correctly.
EDIT: Beaten by urk. :/
You guys have played Halo, right? For long range Bungie could just design it so you scope in.This. As someone who uses firearms in the real world it's very "unnatural" feeling to hip fire in most instances. Seeing your target down range in your optic feels "right" for me personally. I can completely understand why some don't like it... video games are games. It's just odd when you're used to the real thing.

And as you said, it's a videogame, so it doesn't really matter if it's that way in the real world.

I would agree with this if they didn't also introduce accuracy penalties when not using ADS, but unfortunately, they did. So yeah, you kind of have to use ADS, even if you don't like it.You don't HAVE to use ADS if you don't like it. No reason to remove it so people that like it can't use it.
