Their 3rd kit looks leagues better than the fluorescent alternate..

that's terrible. I hope they get some players worthy enough to represent their country. This lot seem like a gang of entitled morons.

Goddammit, I envy you so much in this moment :D

The sad thing is there are a lot of young, hungry players in Cameroon with raw talent, but FECAFOOT doesn't give a shit. Everything about that country is rife with corruption.

Oh England :/

You are my second team on this shit, but the way things are going... my second team will be out before the first, and the first won't go far.

What do England fans think about their national team? Every four years i hear great things but it ends up being a dissapointment. Please win tomorrow, please. Nothing against Uruguay, I wish them the best as well.

I hope they make past round of 16

shit for a decade, put in a quality performance (91% pass completion from an england team?) on saturday and generally don't seem as cuntish as usual. woy's making the most of the unprovens and using tactics from this millennium too, which makes a nice change.

quietly confident about tomorrow. if we play progressive football again and actually get a result out of it this time, maybe it'll put a lid on the ABE banter for a few days.

i don't read newspapers. i think this helps.

Oh man, this has been one hell of a World Cup already. Watching the defending champs get humbled so thoroughly and so quickly is only one of the big surprises this tournament. Can't wait to see more.

We're good, but overhyped. Getting to the quarter finals of tournaments is about where we should get, but our media tend to expect us to win everything and thrash those damn cheating foreigners every tournament. So expectations are a bit out of line.

This leads to a massive kneejerk reaction once we get knocked out, usually with some singular figure of blame (often a Manchester United player, for some reason) put up by the media as the reason we failed. It's easier to blame an individual rather than look at structural problems and suggest reforms, I guess.

The real depressing thing is that no matter what happens to the team, our FA either won't or can't put in the kind of reforms needed to really boost the team up to that very top level. We have shockingly rubbish numbers of UEFA qualified coaches, especially when it comes to youth training, for example. Yet the FA have been very slow to try to do anything about it.

Reading some of the early pages now...

Fellow Australians.

In the wee hours of tomorrow morning our beloved team and its campaign faces its complete destruction. We must stand strong united together with the knowledge that sending these young brave warriors to their demise in this cup is for the best. That from this inevitable slaughter they will gain the experience they require, that the coach will learn their strengths and weaknesses and they will rise again in four years time stronger having gone through the experience. We knew we had lost before we began. But here's to giving them hell on the way down. Good luck Socceroos!

Try not to cry ... =(

Man watching that fourth goal against Cameroon was the funniest thing. The guy who scored looked about as excited as if he just filed his taxes.

Brazil vs Cameroon will be one sad game.

Whoever made that twitter post is full of lies, don't blame Messi! The guy probably has to greet, smile and shake three dozen children's hands every day...like he was Ronald McDonald or ....(***insert some crude Catholic Priest joke here)

I like this one!

Brechiano is a champ and shows what true gentlemen us Australians really are compared to everyone else, especially Argentines haha

I'm just joking don't kill me

Villa is too old. He would have been just as ineffective as Xabi, Xavi, and Pique.

The power is in the future of guys like Mata, Morata, Isco, De Gea joining up with the veterans who aren't past their prime. I wouldn't be surprised if they put in a good showing in Euro 2016.

The gif thread got locked AGAIN? WTF. Seriously, why isn't it left open! It's really useful!

Ha! I came in here to post this...WTF!!!

I've been using that GIF thread to show my friends on Facebook great WC highlights, goals, crowd shots etc...

The Gif thread along with this is the quintessential WC threads on GAF ...

Mods why?

Seriously. This is OT3. How in the world are you going to expect anyone to actually go through the OT's and find what they're looking for?
