PlayStation Network Thread (Vita/PS3/PS4) | June 2014

lord only knows how i managed or why I leveled him up to 100 (and as much as I enjoyed FFIX, I don't have a personal attachment to that game or that zidane)

my other level 100s in this game are lightning, squall, laguna, terra, cecil and yuna
I abused Exdeath to level up all my characters to 100.

Was browsing the JP store and came across a free game called Oshitari, part of a student development festa event. It's pretty much Incredible Crisis (same sense of humor too), using the Vita hardware in different ways for a bunch of minigames. I'm honestly surprised how good it is. Give it a shot if you have a JP account. The Japanese title is 忍足-シノビアシ-.

So on the subject of Virtue's Last Reward:
*Spoilers aren't stated, but still involves them.

Why the heck did you guys encourage me to play Virtue's Last Reward earlier than I planned? What the heck am I supposed to do now? I was better off not playing it until Zero Escape 3 was announced. This game doesn't really end, it's more of an intro to Zero Escape 3. It ended with more questions that now may never be answered if this game isn't funded. I can't believe I'm still thinking about this game, but I really did get into it after a few endings.

LOL, people would kill me but I thought that...

Time Travellers >>>>>>>>>>>> VLR

Plus (real TT spoilers)
we had Doraemon.

And that spoilered part of your message also makes it more so.

Yep. 'twas a good game. I know a lot of people preferred the sense of death with each room, but I preferred VLR's use of the uncanny.

The Two Headed Lion mystery really scared me due to the Nineth Lion always appearing, the text on the wall, and the fact that it's presented to you even when you don't have the answer. It's a very unsettling ending how Sigma claims to have seen it before. I couldn't help but wonder if it really was somewhere in the path.

Shame the sequel might not happen.

I love that the sequel was going to have characters losing limbs.

This games deserves a port with online play. Too bad by the time Square actually does this it will be too late for me to care.

I think Askys wanted to localize but something happen were they won't touch that game even with a 100 ft pole.

I am afraid to ask how long that took.

Man, I finally took sometime to play more of Pixel Junk Shooter Ultimate today and beat episode 3... I had no idea this game combined the levels from PJS1&2 into one game. This is fantastic.

I was begging for these two games on Vita way back around system launch, and Dylan Cuthbert told me it would take a really talented studio to pull it off, and DoubleEleven definitely did. Starting to really like those guys now.

I actually paid for this, too... don't subscribe to PS+, and I def got my money's worth imo.

Hope it gets localized. Never played a Digimon game before.

Weirdly enough, Digimon Story was on the DS line, while Digimon World was on PSP.

DWorld is now on 3DS, while DStory is on Vita. I haven't played any Digimon Story games, so I don't know what to expect.

Though it looks like the game happens on the "real" world, so I'm actually liking the setting.

Edit:

So I guess... only one game I'm looking forward to hasn't given a new info lately:

KanColle Kai (Kantai Collection).

I hope it's lewder... I mean it plays good and have all the voicework from the original game.

Fine, fine. I'm just in summer sale mode, you never know of a better deal is just a day away
You can always wait until Friday for a possible flash sale or Monday for the PS+ blog post. I doubt HSG is going to get any cheaper than $3.25 unless it gets added to the IGC though.

The setting is definitely appealing and the graphics look great!

So Yoshida says there will be yet less first party support on Vita. Thats one of the worst moves yet for the handhelds. Even thou i dont care becouse this year only we have nearly 200 games coming to the console , lots of interesting titles even when they are indie games.
Im just hoping Gravity Rush 2 still launching on the console , I dont care if its the last first party game i see for Vita.

Edit: So , talking shit about the device worked so far , congrats to those spreading the negativity!

You think triCrescendo are working on Re:Digitize 2 for 3DS?

Fan translation of the PSP version should be out "soon".

I recall them saying Decode either had enough new content to be a sequel, I wonder if they might indeed do a sequel on 3DS, especially since everyone involved with Decode worked on the PSP original, right down to tri-cresendo and a second outsourced developer that I sadly can't recall, but that dev had both versions in its game list.

I think Decode is at 75k in Japan as of a couple weeks ago. Edit: 75,987 as of May 18, 2014.

I'm interested in getting Monster Monpiece but I have never played a card battle game before. Is the tutorial pretty good?

Just a quick question.

I just had to accept the TOS and UA again with all my accounts. Does anyone know about any changes Sony has made to them? (I'm in Europe btw)

The game's actually called shinobiashi, oshitari is the name reading for 忍足 ┐('~`;)┌

I hope it's lewder... I mean it plays good and have all the voicework from the original game.
Don't fight it

Ack. This Monpiece talk isn't helping. Just bought Ys and FF-X/X2 HD a couple days ago but I want more. Was thinking of either Monpiece or Demon Gaze and I can't decide.

I want more Vita games in my Vita case so bad that I almost bought Valhalla Knights 3 used (duh?) yesterday... shit. What to get?! I have about 4 gigs free on my 32GB card, so it doesn't help that both Demon and Monpiece will fit on there.

Why not both?

I've only played Demon Gaze, and coming from a gal who did NOT like dungeon crawlers before playing it, it's a blast.

Althou an expensive game i want to buy Magical Beat for Ps Vita , is anyone already an owner of this title? is it worthy? has enough content? im downloading the demo now but i know the game is one of those games i cannot help but to like, the thing is i want to know if it has enough content.

I was quite pleased by how Digimon looks and came here to post it, only to find out it was posted a while ago.
BTW digimon franchise the very original was a toy (a spin-off of Tamagocchi series).
As for video game the franchise started form Wonder Swan, so being developed for any platform doesn't surprise me.
