Honduras will play like we normally do once we meet equal opposition in Ecuador and Switzerland. We've destroyed Mexico in their own stadium, we've beaten Brazil in the fucking Copa America. The bullshit being slung around here is tiring and not representative of Honduras.

Only once has Honduras beaten Mexico in our own stadium (unless you count the friendly in 1978), and that was one of the shittiest team that Mexico has ever had in a long time. Only 3 players of that game back in 2013 are in the starting line up in this world cup, not even the DT is the same. (Dos Santos, Moreno, Peralta).

I'm just saying is not a good reference that game against Mexico.

For example, Argetina had a shitty qualifier to the wc 2010, almost as bad as Mexico, losing to Bolivia 6 to 1. Where is Bolivia? (Of course, the match was in Bolivia, so isn't as comparable).

I would say Honduras have more futbol than what they showed against France, of course.

I have always thought Honduras needs more discipline, I have the impression the players are a bit too hot-headed which often tends to make them play dirty if something goes wrong, or the pressure increases.
 
I was rooting for Greece to win so I can say they've had a better tournament than England. Turns out I can still make that argument with their tie against Japan.

The best players have always been on ultimate team. I started there when I first got into Fifa and now playing regular seasons is a joke.
 
If Altidore scores at any of the next ten world cups I'll fly to Sunderland and pin him down and do things to his genitals that would get me thrown in a gulag

I agree. I blame the lack of education. Most, if not all, of these players have been raised in poverty, they don't get to graduate from high school and shit. They're mentally very weak.

Saw Altidore was out for Portugal and thought "shit". Then I realized that if Altidore being out hurts your teams chances then you must really suck...lol we're fucked against Portugal but I still BELIEVE.

My friend in São Paulo says the women in Porto Alegre are the best in Brazil. It's on my next itinerary to Brazil. This is the fifth time I have been to Brazil, yet I've never been there.
 
I went in cheering for Japan. Ended up switching to Greece after seeing their manager's awesome used-car-salesman get-up and Japan's horrible performance. 74% possession, Greece down a man -> 0:0.

If I could change the number of teams from each Federation I'd change this

Move Australia back in the OFC where they belong.

AFC (Asia): 4 places
CAF (Africa): 4 places
CONCACAF : 5 places
CONMEBOL : 5 places
OFC (Oceania): 1 place
UEFA (Europe): 13 places

Until the overall quality of play improves from the AFC and CAF I see no reason why some CONCACAF teams and UEFA teams should be left out.

Haha that's the plan. Only got some action off an American chick so far which is disappointing.

Not going to pay for it but the only Brazilian women that seem interested in me at the moment are pros! I should have tried to lose some weight before coming this time.....also, being darker skinned also hurts my chances so I have been told. My blond Aussie mates are enjoying it though.
 
Well, this is going to be an unpopular opinion, and kinda biting my tongue because they have been especially good this tournament, but heck, I don't even think CONCACAF deserves the 3 1/2 spots they got now. For reals.

It is true tho that CAF having some amazing talent continues to underperform tournament after tournament. I guess there are deeper issues with their teams than just their problems inside the pitch.

I think they have the balance about right. It's just that the rankings need to be fixed which would change the seedings which would have made the groups a bit more even.
