PlayStation Network Thread (Vita/PS3/PS4) | June 2014

Kemco's phone games have been hitting the console/handheld scene a lot lately. There's the two PSP ports, Mystic Chronicles and End of Serenity, as well as the Wii U game, Alphadia Genesis. Those were done by Kemco in Japan, but for some reason Nicalis decided to port Grinsia to 3DS themselves.

Out of all the Japanese publishers with extensive phone support, I really don't know why Kemco became so prolific in porting their content to traditional platforms.

sigh.. all these depressing Vita talk
I love this little device :(

and I mean having those ports (to be able to play those classics on the go) is awesome IF ONLY THESE DAMN GAMES ARE ACTUALLY PORTED WELL!

Yeah, I take back what I said about Magical Beat. Been stuck on Level 6 of Normal Battle for literally hours now because around 3:30, the CPU decides to hit all of his blocks and I instantly die. Even if I clear the whole entire screen, he manages to catch back up and I get stuck. Fuck this game.

Good luck getting passed that cat in stage 9
I totally didn't use L + R to beat the last two stages

I can't believe they still exist! :O

They always seemed like Jaleco to me. They're niche JP folks who had a very short lived NA publishing team, and just remained uber niche in the recent years. Only Jaleco has gone the way of the dodo bird. All we know is that Hamster now has all their IPs seemingly for no reason, maybe Hamster bought Jaleco.

I think I continued 20+ times and ended up quitting. :(

The worst is when you think you're winning and then the computer starts stacking up all those dud blocks on you. ;__;

Slow songs are the worst.

i can manage the slow songs..but damn those 180BPM songs. i can't even follow the beat always have to look at that bar in the middle just to time the drops >_> to hell with that. L+R it is! XD

So I have a formerly hacked PSP on me. I updated the firmware to a new official firmware, is it safe to log onto the PSN Store with?

I always try to rush in the slow songs and end up getting Bads. :(

at least you can time the beat easier on the slow songs..compared to those higher BPMs..i can't even comprehend what I'm listening to while looking at the blocks and checking that middle bar @_@

i'll use that gif too XD

You think triCrescendo are working on Re:Digitize 2 for 3DS?

Fan translation of the PSP version should be out "soon".

Digimon games usually release around the time they make an anime.

Do they have another anime announced?

Don't fight it

You know full well that if someone made a call to slay Smaug and recover all the lost エロ漫画 in Erobor, I'd be one of the first to answer.

MutantPervGAF and Proud™.

They made tons of RPGs on mobile and smartphones, but only ported the few you listed though. I wish more companies would bring their smartphone titles to handheld or home consoles. Stuff like Kairosoft's Game Dev Story would be great on Vita.
