I could upload it to the filehost of your choice, but it'd take a while.

Nah I've seen it many times on other youtube channels just wanted it on eShop

you'll be shocked to see how many Nintendo Youtube streaming Youtuber Channels who had no idea what Xenoblade was

the game need a lot of help.

I think they are ignoring it due to the character clipping through Elma at the end or they have something against Space Rihanna

Thanks for this. To me, Sawano's music sounds a little more 'mature' and subtextual. It seems to have fewer melodramatic hooks so it's not quite the JRPG/Final Fantasy/Chrono Trigger/Squaresoft/Nintendo anthems that we know and love. But that's not a good or bad thing. I remain optimistic as I think it will support a darker-toned story a bit better.

While Sawano's style is certainly more cinematic than that of Xenoblade's team, his music as a whole seems mostly devoid of subtlety. He loves orchestral bombing, choral explosions and wailing vocals; to the point where it often harms the score as a whole. When he's more restrained, he can produce some great pieces, but that's not a terribly common occurrence. Hopefully he's well-directed for Xenocross.

The word to use for Sawano's style is "bombastic".

Yeah I think subtle was the wrong word. What I meant was 'less driven by melodic hooks'. I guess there's not a word for that is there?

But yeah I do like his bombast... The percussion is particularly great in what I've heard so far. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FOSK6RAQH7w

He's proven it more than enough IMO. He makes great use of soft vocals, choruses, filtered drums and ambient pads in a lot of his productions:

But yeah, like you said, let's hope he's well directed for Xenoblade. So far, I really like what we've heard, but I'm hoping for some more subtle songs like many people here.

Can someone just upload the Threehouse live footage from the american Eshop (if thats even possible). Pisses me off that Nintendo of Europe is to damn slow uploading the high quality vid.

I think he has a lot of experimental sounds that he uses well but most seem to know him for Attack on Titan but he does have more traditional stuff like from Gundam Unicorn.

There's also this one TV drama called A Song to the Sun.

And from Gundom Unicorn.

And a softer track from Guilty Crown.

This is incredibly minor, but it seems like there are two international logos for the game right now.

From the trailer and the gameplay footage

From the E3 website

The Japanese logo is white so the first one might be closer to final. I like how the black logo differentiates it from Xenoblade a bit more, though.

Just for comparison sake, here's Xenoblade's logo

Lastly Xenogears' logo

Wow, that's some great stuff.

I got serious Ace Attorney vibes from the first one :) Which is a good thing.

Took a little time to make some Space Rihanna gifs.

Also something I noticed is that the falling animation has greatly improved over the original Xenoblade
(As in there actually is a falling animation now)

I really want an in-depth interview with Monolith's artists about the creative process behind XX. The art (and art direction) on display here is some of the best I've ever seen in a game.
Monolith Soft's environmental designs are absolutely gorgeous.

I wish their artists were in charge of the environmental art in Zelda.

I want to share a couple songs from Hiroyuki Sawano that aren't from anime:

Seek Your Fate -From BOX. Pretty epic.

Black and Blue Room I love the violin in this song. Beautiful song.

GracE Lively acoustic guitar stuff. Fitting for a game country town song that's bustling, methinks. Maybe something like this will play in a village full of Riki's people.

Oblivion- ・ Male ・ Expiation ・ Nightmare Now this is the opposite of the song above. Fitting maybe for a game town full of evil/slaves/disease or something of a dark nature.

80$$ The new 'Riki' Theme song? Sounds fitting for a comedy scene involving the fluffy puff ball for the new Xenoblade. Love the variety and how all the instruments come together for this song.

BLOOD A boss battle theme! Let's fight!!

Sawano's done some amazing work for a ton of live action drama's and movies in Japan. With Gundam Unicorn he seems to have hit it big with people and got a whole lot more attention. He's done some anime before Unicorn, but now after Attack on Titan and Kill La Kill all becoming very popular and gaining him much more attention, he'll probably be doing most of his new work for anime. He's already working on a big new anime show that'll be airing next month.

I'm really happy he's doing a game though. I've always wanted to hear him do a game, and for a big budget release no less. I've got high hope for Xenoblade Chronicles X. I wasn't much of a fan of the first game on Wii, but Sawano's involvement with this just makes me so hyped. I hope the game rocks.

Now to end this post with this lovely song from Taiyou no Uta:

From Sunset to Sunrise Beautiful!

No problemo! ( ' ▽' )v

Also loving the gifs, especially that landing animation. It's like it comes straight out of some kind of dance routine.

While I was making that gif, I couldn't stop imagining some Janet Jackson music coming on immediately after they landed.and them bursting into a dance routine.

the 40 minute Nintendo treehouse presentation was so mindblowingly good! It totally sold me on the game guys!

2015 is going to be the year of the Wii U! And that new Zelda game looks so freaking sweet!

I am about 20 hours into my first play through of XenoBlade. This game cannot come out soon enough. Sleeper hit of 2015. (Sleeper because outside of the hardcore gaming community I have not seen a lot of WiiU owners).

If you would have told me back in January that the top two games I would want the most for 2015 would be on the Wii U, I would have called you crazy. Especially with the ps4 and xbox one just coming out. Nintendo won me over.

I think this along with Splatoon, Mario Maker, Zelda and Star Fox will all be pushed HARD by Nintendo in 2015.

Taiyou no Uta/A Song to the Sun

The title is literally in the video

It was a great show

Thanks! I'll edit my post. I was just really tired last night since it was so late when I was searching for videos.

same here they won me over as well. Top quality showing this!

IMO it seems like the dev is pouring some major love into this game. I loved Xenogears so this is a must buy for me :D

Basically, anyone who thinks XB battles are boring is doing it wrong...

This. I admit that the very beginning I did not like the battle system at all...but once I got used to the system and explored it, I loved it! The Unique Monsters really make the game awesome.

With that said, I've beaten every monster in the game, including the level 120 Avalanche Abassy and I still have no idea how the hell this guy managed to beat Mischievous Nebarius at Level 44....with no goddamn armor!

And I like the premonitions a lot. It allows me to think and take a break.

H-h-..... how is this possible?!?!?

Can someone please provide some explanation? I've played through most of the game and the majority of the time the only way I knew to beat these guys is to be a higher level...

I don't know the exact method this person used since it's in Japanese but in Xenoblade one of the big things is that agility is a monster stat and is necessary to beat high leveled monsters as it effects accuracy and evasion. By keeping shulk and dunban without armour they get a monster boost in agility which lets them both be able to dodge high level enemy attacks and also hit high level enemies. I think Reyn is just super buffed with higher ranked armour to draw most of the attention to him so he can absorb as much damage as possible. The player is probably using night vision gems what increase your hit rate at night (hence why this battle is occuring at night). This is about the only thing I can think of for how he can be winning this fight haha. The only thing I'm really unsure of is how the party all survived that hit with 1 HP. I imagine it was some sort of link ability. It's hard to know exactly what happened since I can't read Japanese.

I see:

- lots of Reyn time. He's the only one with any decent defense, so he's tanking the crap out of the dude
- high agility for Shulk and Dunban? They're both armorless, which implies the skill link to one of Dunban's agility boost skills. This means lots of hits despite the level difference.
- high affinity between all 3 characters, which comes in handy for...
- chain attack max! Basically, instead of using chain attacks to topple, you can link the same color to drastically boost the attack damage. Being aggressive with chain attacks is the secret sauce to Xenoblade's battle system.
- finally, I'm not sure what's going on when they all end up at 1 HP without dying. I think there's a gem for that, but it could also be the normal result of one of the unique's attacks.

A real shame Nintendo Kyoto can't send a few busloads to Monolift studio with programmers and artists to get the game ready by March 2015. Wii U would be just coming down from Smash bros, perfect title to end fiscal year with for Nintendo.

Looking at the equips, the only gems they have is on their weapons, which have 3 slots since they have NOTHING ELSE EQUIPPED! Reyn has 2 night vision IV equipped and an agility up IV. Shulk has one Night Vision IV and two Agility Up IVs, Dunban has the same gems as Shulk.

Anyone think Nintendo will pull a Bayonetta and give away Xenoblade away with Chronicles?

I realize Monolith already has its hands full, so I doubt it myself.

But then again many did not get a chance to play the first game.

You're pretty much saying the same thing as me. Boosted accuracy with night vision and agility gems. Reyn bulked up on defense. Unless I'm missing something.

If you activate chain attack at the moment the vision comes true, all your members will survive with 1 HP if they are attacked. Highest tension level also means higher hit chance in this battle.
