finally picked up a chat headset for my ps4. the one that came with it just wouldn't stay in my ear. playing the alpha without being able to talk with my fireteam really sucked. i'm set for the beta now though.

I'd curb my expectations on that. I really feel people are taking that statement a bit out of context. I think they meant that they were aiming for Destiny players to experience something new everyday, not that they were literally adding content every day. .

I think you're right on the money here. No way Bungie is adding new content every day. (Would be completely surprised if they did.)

I'll be showing my years with the post, but "whatevs". My first video game was a handheld football game in the 80s, the one that had digital dashes that you tried to move across the screen over and over for a touchdown. I remember the feeling of awe at both the sights and sounds of the arcades, thinking how cool Zaxxon was, hearing the all the other old school arcade noises simultaneously like the robotron voice, donkey kong, etc. Like many of you I've been a gaming enthusiast most of my life, and have been passionate and excited for many unique titles and technological breakthroughs that progressed my hobby.

Through all of the that, I've never been as hype for a game as I am for Destiny after playing the Alpha. I feel 10 years old in the arcade again watching the idle screens wishing I had more quarters. So pumped.

I know the card that code came from had that weapon on it but there still isn't a guarantee we'll get that exact one. Some of the other cards were for the classes, locations, etc

I wish we would get those special weapons but my guess is they will be like the PS exclusive content (some starter weapons, class gear, different ships)
