To those who own a soccer jersey, do you guys buy them with names of your favorite player on the team, or ones with no names? I feel like I prefer ones without them for some reason, which sounds strange to me.

It's not as if the time stops exactly at 95:00 lol, the ref can add on however much time he wants if the other team is trying to waste time.

It ended right around the start of the 96th minute though. Bradley had multiple turnovers this game and the last. He shouldn't start against ze Germans.

Colombia World Cup winner for celebration. Look at that sync!

bradley is such a godawful player. every touch is poison and i hope klinsmann stays awake at night wondering why he stripped donovan of his plot armour but has left bradley untouched for 180 minutes.

howard is absoloute world class, though.

I just don't see Germany colluding again after the 1982 fiasco

They don't need collusion to get through and have no reasons to help the US team when every one knows they thoroughly outclass them.

They will want to save some energy for the next round.
They will want to avoid injuries for the next round.
They will want to avoid yellow cards for the next rounds.
A draw means they're top of the group. A loss could mean they're out.

We've seen this stuff time and time again. Neither side will go all-in, and if it's still tied by the 70th minute or so, it will stay that way.

Without. Especially a club shirt, because they'll probably leave straight after you get it.

The thing that is absolutely hilarious is the US media refuses to call Bradley out for his shit play. I have yet to hear anyone on tv say anything really negative. The only positive I can take from this game is that this will most likely be Bradley's last world cup for the US.

Bradley is the MLS' big "get" and golden boy, and ESPN just signed a tv deal with the MLS. Follow the money.

Great game overall.

I hope Germany and USA don't fix their game to a draw, I have fears of that expecially when U.S. coach is Germany's hero Klinsmann.
I'm still haunted by that shameful Denmark-Sweden 2-2 @euro 2004, I don't want neither Ghana's nor Portugal's supporters go through that farce we Italians had to suffer back then

Nothing shameful about that 2-2 game, the teams only settled for a draw after there was only 5 minutes left.

Portugal is basically out.....but look at the bright side Portugal fans, no more Paulo Bento, he's arguably the biggest culprint for this debacle

Klinnsman needs to pull some strings with his old connections back at home, the guy's won a World Cup for Germany, surely he can convince Loew to help a brother out.

The Nigel Thornberry commentator just trashed Bradley for centering the ball going up against Ghana vs. what the late sub did (forget his name, Wondoloski or something).

USA loses 1x0 GD goes to 0.
Ghana wins 1x0 GD goes to 0.

Second tie breaker is goals scored. USA has 3 so far. Ghana has 2. But winning 1x0 they go to 3.

Third tie breaker is what? I have no idea.

USA have 4 goals, Ghana have 3.

USA lose 1-0, Ghana win 1-0 = 4 goals each.

USA would go through because they beat Ghana.

Welp, Portugal don't deserve to go through after 2 shit performances, but that equaliser gave a small glimmer of hope.

But Portugal is playing with no heart, I expected that today but I didn't see it, so I no longer expect it against Ghana.

Shittest world cup I have ever witnessed as a Portuguese.

I'm convinced we're done.
Even though we aren't.

Thankfully I'll be traveling on Thursday so I don't have to watch the game and can just get the news from Twitter haha

All he had to do was kick the damn ball out of bounds, or take a wild shot or fucking pick it up and run around, who cares just waste 30 seconds.

I don't know how much the rest of you know about American culture (I'm an expert), but honor and shame are huge parts of it. It's not like it is in Germany where you can become successful by being an asshole. Oh wait. Scrap that, its actually worse.

Ah, damn. All that work just to blow it in the 5th minute of stoppage time.

I blame the ref for inexplicably adding 5 minutes to the second half while the first half was only 2 even with the water break.

Not really. But.

Anyway, I'm all in for a U.S./Germany collusion tie.
