USA would need to beat Germany by like 3 goals or something I think. Not very likely.
I wish NBC would have run the rights to the next WC. Their production is top notch.
We get stuck with Gus Johnson yelling

Holy shit did you watch the champions league? At least lalas is only on studio shows and we get Ian Darke calling the marquee gamesNo more Alexi Lalas and more Gus Johnson. (Who I like and I think has a great play by play style for soccer)
Wait...
Joe Buck is going to commentate the World Cup?
Thank god for Univision. <333
The problem with Alexi is that he is never critical with the US ever. Frankly I don't like that in an analyst.
You know of a more elite lacrosse league than those two?I'm not saying it isn't worth while, more like on a mainstream level in the States and not regional. Because for America we know that's how it works for a sport to be considered popular. I'm perfectly fine following a league that isn't elite. Hell, I watch both NLL and MLL.

So what do you guys think the odds are that the states tie Germany?
538 predictions updated. 76% chance of advancing.
You beat Ghana, Ghana almost beat Germany - stranger things have happened, mate.
It's actually not that bad now. You could watch some European leagues if you want higher quality, but time zones makes that a pain.
Talk some sense into your friends though. Seriously.

Ugh, now the awful part of the world cup where games overlap. So shitty, cba.
whoever holds the rights to the next WC in USA needs to poach Thierry Henry after he retires. would be nice to get analysts/commentators that are both 1) good at commentating, 2) know their shit about the game
I think its pretty good. Klinsman calls the Germans and fixes the match. The arraignment is perfect. Germany one US two. Klinsman looks like hero. Germany can continue their journey. Both teams could beat Belgium and whoever is second.

Ok, so I just came back from watching the game at a bar... what the fuck is wrong with Bradley? It seemed it was only a few weeks ago he was running his ass off and hustling in all of those pre World Cup friendlies and now, when it actually matters, all he does is jog around aimlessly hoping to get a good ball though. If that's what he's gonna do versus Germany then I'd rather see him benched.

No.. It's actually a GREAT part. That way you can't be sure what's happening in the other game and can't take advantage of it.
No more Alexi Lalas and more Gus Johnson. (Who I like and I think has a great play by play style for soccer)
Belgium might have more individual talent than any other team still left in the cup
Too bad Muller and Klose are hungry for goals like no other evrytymI think its pretty good. Klinsman calls the Germans and fixes the match. The arraignment is perfect. Germany one US two. No way will we have to suffer through Joe Buck. Right???What? Are you serious?
He's easily been our best player leading up to the world cup over the last year or so. He played better today than the first game but that giveaway at the end is unacceptable. Don't really know what's up with him.

Yeah, I totally get the necessity. I just can't stand it from an audience perspective.
Depends which Germany shows up.
Too soon...lol.
I don't like Ian all that much. He is better than the Bein Sports guys but I want somebody who screams like Gus. I see it with the Arab announcers. It's exciting and entertaining.
Too bad Muller and Klose are hungry for goals like no other evrytym
Tough call, but Mexico looks to be in better form so far. Really could go either way though.Croatia vs Mexico
who wins?
and yet they don't know how the fuck to use it
Too bad Muller and Klose are hungry for goals like no other evrytym
I can see it now.No way will we have to suffer through Joe Buck. Right???
Gus Johnson is fine for football or basketball, but in every soccer game he has covered, he has been atrocious. He just talks talks talks about nonsense, the whole fucking time, is not familiar with any players or nuances of the game, and just screams, literally.

World Cup in Qatar. Joe buck commentating. Hot women not allowed to show cleavage.
Worst World Cup ever.
