Neymar isn't even that good, average at best. Let's not pretend he's scoring his goal against great opponents; Cameron's defense is at the same levels as Empoli B-squad, even Bendtner could score against them and with his eyes closed. I'd rate players like Matri and Dos Santos higher than Neymar.
Come on now. Be serious at least.

I guess since they can't seem to find the goal, Mexico and Croatia are now settling for trying to kill each other.

Lots of scoring opportunities but no bueno so far for both teams.

lol ok. And that's why Dos Santos was kicked out of Barcelona.

I find it hard to believe your tickets cost R$ 400 in average.

I'll concede in light of evidence, of course.

I dont really know if FIFA charges different prices for different countries, but at fifa.com/ingresso (where I got my tickets) there were R$60,00 tickets available to order for all group stage games, any stadium. And ALL GAMES on Belo Horizonte (group stage) for R$350,00, if you wanted to get the full package. If you don't believe me, I can print the site anytime, since the page with the prices are still on for the domestic public

Neymar's really good, let's not kid ourselves... yet Cameroon's defense also is hilariously bad. It actually seems Cameroon's defense and offense are playing different matches.

I agree with Suen, not impressed by neymar. Not now not this year and not before that. These goals mean nothing against these countries and with the ref at their side every day.

Thing with Brazil is... no matter how pedestrian or mediocre them may seem, they'll still have enough tools in their shed to beat us. And we seem to have the worst luck in such cases.

Plus, it has been 3 WC in a row facing them in the Round of 16. It's a bad precedent.

On the other hand - I believe in this generation of players. I believe they can, somehow, beat the odds. It won't be easy, though.

I think Chile will definitely have a decent chance to take that match. Brazil won't ever play defence like the Netherlands did, so you WILL get chances, but every single one will have to count that's for sure.

They won the 94 cup without ever really looking amazing.

Yeah, a bit more meaning to it, as both teams have a chance at advancing.
Cameroon can only really play spoiler...

Yeah exactly.

It's looking like all my predictions are going to be very close today with the exception of the Spain/Australia game.

Lol Croatia and Mexico getting heated.
Indeed. Second half will be crazy.

My man!
Look at my "pool" that I filled in before the WC

Ha! I forgot to mention Holland will win the final, naturally.

Congrats!

Agreed. Bendtner especially, he's won European silverware atleast

Mexico is too fast. Croatia's only chance is a lucky shot or a cross. Still mad about the Brazil referee shenanigans.

Anyway, good luck to both teams in the second half!

My point was the frequency of chances given, which goes back to the other players in the team. Neymar wasted his share of opportunities too, but he's getting more of them, in very good positions.

Ditto for RVP, Benz...etc.

According to whoscored Neymar has half as many shots as ronaldo(who has 2nd most lol, Benz first)

People need to realize the game has evolved and a good striker isn't some water dancing acrobat these days, its someone who takes those small opportunities and turns them into goals. Neymar is great and is succeeding where legacy Brasil strikers began to waiver.

Neymar is good. Very overrated at the moment but he has the talent to be a great. Won't be enough to stop Brazil getting twatted by a properly good side though. Half the squad is just so poor.
