So, who wants to play Brawl/Project M online? Use this guide to set it up: http://smashboards.com/threads/guid...shutdown-warning-to-lan-adapter-users.355374/

I would like to play with some of you soon rather than till Smash 4 comes out. Could play 1v1s, FFAs, items off or on, and etc.

I play Project M more now-a-days since it is kinda like a new game in terms of gameplay. We could set up matches in the IRC as well.

Some of us in SmashGAF have already played with each other before online shut down. Though I've tried a few matches with the homebrew online solution, and it seems to be pretty good.

I'd definitely be down to try this, but not sure that I'm able to. I'm at work right now, so I can't read the article in full, but would it be possible to do this if I'm on a Wii U and it's not through homebrew? I already have Project M, just not sure I'll be able to go online with this.

Not really. It was more like a shift in his approach of thinking of which characters should be playable. He approached Villager with a different mindset for Smash 4.

Okay, but my point still stands though; he changed his mind. "A shift in an approach to thinking" is basically "changing your mind".

I need sit down and trying to get it work someday soon.

Those are much bigger than the ones on the site, and they're already cut out.

Thank you!

Oh sweet. I never got a chance to play with GAF before the online shut down, so I'm definitely down for this. I've been playing a lot of Project M with a friend recently.

I'll try this solution later today.

I don't have a comp that can handle those requirements :(

I just noticed the large sized mii used in firdays pic is the same mii from the icon used for wii u's mii channel. Neat.

The uploader removed it, so I'm too late to watch that. lol What was that about anyway?

Oh forreal?cuz dude was starting to get a a lot of dislikes

And what was it about

" why ya'll want shadow in the game , knuckles should be in the game. Why is it because you think he is cool and you think he is popular?"

Yes Internet person. That would explain that.

Should be noted that you should register your Brawl FC at the website soon if you don't want to use a new save file. I've read that the FC registering thing will soon stop working once the server that handles FCs shuts down at GameSpy.

If you have Project M working through Gecko or a USB loader, then all you have to do is replace the RSBE01.gct file that is in the 'codes' folder with the one in the download (assuming you have the latest Project M Wi-Fi safe installed).

I can upload the GCT file separately later.

You don't need a computer, just use your Wii or Wii U. But with a Wii U, you wouldn't be able to use the GCN controller.

You can use Dolphin to play with Wii/Wii U users, but it can cause designs at times.

Oh wow lol. Guess that's why he was forced to remove it.

I think Knucles is also a better guy than Shadow. But I don't mind either of the two if ever Sakurai decided to put one of them
but please have Tails first.

Oh, guess I just need some more sd cards then. I'll have to look into this. I have a mayflash adapter that should work okay with this right?

Sweet, thanks! I'll go ahead and submit by FC when I get home, but probably won't be able to get online until later this week. But, yeah, I'd love to get some online Smash going on.

Oh right, I forgot about the adapter. Yea it will work.

Make sure you get a 2GB (at least 1GB) SD Card or else it won't work since Brawl can't read SD cards that have a higher capacity than 2GB.

Quas-Quas is pretty fast with the update :)

Was wondering what he was going to do for miifighter but I think he made the right choice.

Cool. I have a 2GB that I used to use for PM. But if everyone is going to be playing PM instead of Brawl online I may re-download it. Time to see if my LAN adapter will help any with Brawl lag.

I'm up for playing with anyone in the EU, I play P:M netplay almost daily with the irc but haven't played with any of you lot.

E: Nvm watching CEO now

Throw in dark bowser and cyber dark bowser and we have a deal.

Rosalina can be apocalypse/galactus :D

You missed a perfectly good chance for a Ridley being big enough to eat worlds joke there.

Throw in Sakurai's Cat as Onslaught and we got a deal, though.

I added my Brawl friendcode and got a message saying all codes were written to the database. Now I just wait 24 hours right?

It's gone. What was it?

It was 13 minute video which can be summarized like this:

"Why the fuckity fuck do you want fucking Shadow in the fucking game and not fucking Knuckles or Tails you fucking idiots!? Shadow would just be a fucking clone except with fucking Chaos Control but fucking Knuckles would be a good fucking second Sonic rep. He wouldn't fucking be a fucking clone of fucking Little Mac. Stop being fucking hypocrites and saying you don't want a fucking second fucking Sonic rep but then ask for fucking Shadow at the same fucking time."

Well, you actually don't have to wait 24 hours. You can actually just test it out and see if it works now. It tells you to wait 24 hours in case it doesn't work yet.

I showed someone how to do it the other day and it registered immediately and then we played online together.

It was pretty pretty at first (he lives in the UK while I'm in Canada), but then it eventually became pretty good. It was around the level that it is at when I play with people from the US.

Just finished setting this up. Only play Project M these days though I play often. FC's 0263-6982-1624 (anyone's free to add me; just let me know so I can add you back!)

More deserving of what? Being an assist trophy lol.

Sonic is not getting more than one playable character. Why do people act like that series should get special privilege?

According to this guy: because sonic is essentially nintendo's property anyway.
No idea how he came to that conclusion.
