Algeria produced exactly one chance the entire second half, and that only because of a boneheaded Khedira mistake. Every other time they played it forward, the most dangerous thing that happened was Neuer clearing it outside of the box. If you want to prove me wrong, go ahead, post a video.

Germany's defense was suspect the whole game, which is why Neuer had to step it up, but there's no world in which Algeria wasn't playing purely for penalties from the second half onward.

Germany deserved the win.
