as for the match yesterday... germany had one guy in defense and that was the fucking goalkeeper. the rest of the team was a total clusterfuck. holy shit I'm worried about the next match.

I did watch it at a public viewing event though, what a great way to watch football!
 
Messi+10 will win, but Switzerland will score.

Belgium will win, but there will be something majorly dramatic that happens – probably right at the end – that will go down in US sports infamy for years to come and will spawn countless memes.
 
I hope Belgium wins. I love my southern neighbours.
I also have a weak point for the Swiss and i all honesty, i want them to beat Argentina... But i want to play/ beat Argentina with Holland. So.. go whoever wins.
 
I honestly do not know who will win tonight's matches.

Switzerland surprised me a lot and so did USA. I can honestly see Belgium loosing the match because they have great players but a terrible team. Argentina can have a terrible evening if Messi is nowhere to be seen.
 
If America expects itself to get into the next round, then it better not play botched passes and slow counter attacks. These are the knockout rounds. There is no room for error.
 
You guys thought i was out of my mind when i said a few days ago that the Cameroonian players received their money for match fixing long ago after that shitty display against Brazil. Cameroons preparation and friendly games were very impressive, only for them to f**k their world cup games for no particular reason besides greed.

Hopefully FIFA gets to the bottom of their match fixing and all the players and officials involved being banned for a few years.

It's nice to see our northern neighbours to be so supportive of Belgium, thank you guys ;) I'm also rooting for the Dutch. Until we meet them that is.

I just hope no 1 in the team does something really stupid like causing a penalty or getting sent off. Go Belgium!

Because Song actually thought that Puyol wanted to lift the La Liga trophy with him (for fuck knows what reason), when Eric Abidal, who was recovering from cancer, was standing right next to him and he's fucking blocking him lol. The smile on his stupid face is what makes it.

Don't worry, we got this, the team is playing better and Messi, well, you know. I was hoping the Netherlands could make it to semis but after the last match I don't know, they look weak and if not for the referee they'll be out. I want to have the pleasure to take them out like in '78 when we won the cup.
 
Say what you will about the USA but they have players that are willing to run through fire in order to win. That is a mentality that can put you towards the quarter finals and from what I have seen Belgium does not have ferocity.

still hope the u.s.a can pull it off. the team is just terrible on paper, on a player to player basis on the pitch even, but i really admire their attitude and spirit. maybe they have something about them or just that klinsmann is a talented coach who can make them more than the sum of their parts, but either way they seem to embrace their limitations in an endearing way that's so refreshing as an england supporter.
