PlayStation Network Thread (Vita/PS3/PS4) | July 2014

Hmm..nothing for me this month. I guess PS+ games only. Doki doki it is then.

Top of the page: Buy Atelier Rorona Plus and Zen Pinball 2 (all tables)!

The default A Control is front and back, but you can change it to B Control, which makes it so that you need to touch an icon in the corner to activate the dark firefly and control it with the front touchscreen. That's what I used.
Thanks, will probably end up picking it up this month then.

Just turned on the PS4 for the first time in a week or so to get Strider. Every time I turn the thing on, I'm reminded of how much I hate the lack of game organization. This should have been fixed months ago.

Guacamelee PS4 PS+ discount just got applied and updated on store. Only two bucks but at least it is something. Still wish they had a bigger discount for people who bought prior versions but at least they are trying and I'm going to re-support them now. And with the $10 I'm getting back from Sony for The Last of Us PS4 pre-order I'm basically getting the PS4 version for $3. :)

Asking again on a new page -

If I transfer to a new memory card, will Crash Bandicoot and Spyro still work on my NA Vita? I don't want to lose them.

Are you talking about the games you got on your Vita from that 'Glitch' a while back? As long as they are on your PC and (from what I think) is the same Vita you put them on, then it should work fine regardless :). I tried this a while myself (copied the PS1 games to my laptop and transferred them back) and it worked fine :D. As long as you are using the same Vita the games were originally on, then it should be fine :).

I guess this would be the best place to ask, since I want to get Muramasa from PS+ but because I made a sub/master account back when I got a PSP & had no idea of the restrictions years later and when I got a Vita, I'm stuck with my sub being used on Vita with all my saves & trophies. I'm hearing that sub accounts CAN subscribe to PS+ now. Can anyone confirm this? I've been lucky with getting PS3 content by switching to my master account, but with Vita, it won't let me transfer it due to the 1 account per system/memory card.

Yes, thank you! Those are the games I'm talking about (specifically Crash and Spyro when they were available for a couple days). And yes, it will be the same Vita, just a new memory card.

I will definitely pull the trigger on the 64 gig now!

I don't know if I should get TxK, not after I bought OlliOlli and ended up disliking the game.
If it's sub-$5 and you're not sure if you'll like it or not, buy it. Not only may you might be surprised by liking it, even if you don't like it you've refined your taste for games. Just buy things, play them, tell us how you liked it, and buy more. You own a Vita, buy everything.

Anyone else having problems trying to download Doki Doki Universe or Muramasa onto their Vita? I keep getting "Cannot connect to the server" messages.
Now I can't even access the store on Vita.

Are they just slow to roll out the sale contents?
All I'm seeing is this

Oh well at least I got Muramasa.
Guess I'll grab One Piece Pirate Warriors 2 as well.

I don't own the game, but would anyone mind if I make the Ratchet Collection Thread? If no one plans on doing that, I wouldn't mind making it :).

Wait.

Wait

Olliolli is definitely not your usual mobile endless-runner. There's a great level design built around good and deep game mechanics

I'll give you that. It's a really well done iPad-type game.
Endless runners are cool, I like them. I like OlliOlli.

He's saying he doesn't know if TxK is worth it because OlliOlli was disappointing and I was pointing out how one isn't like the other.

The difference is OlliOlli is an iPad type game while TxK is a masterpiece.

Watch bluemaxima's look at the game:

Get out. OlliOlli is fantastic and a game that wouldn't even close to work on an ipad. Also I personally liked it more than TxK. TxK is great for a while but gameplay sessions are always so long it puts me off playing. As soon as I had a play session that lasted 2 hours I never touched the game again. I really can't be bothered with that shit every time. Way too long for one play. OlliOlli on the other hand is great to play in short or long bursts so it's more likely to be played by me.

You don't have to start from level 1 every time, but I hear you.
For all I know, Shizuka wouldn't like TxK either. The two games are totally different.

Alright, I'll get TxK. Thanks, everyone.
Sweet! Post your impressions later if you think of it

On the TxK topic, it personally didn't do anything for me, but I could certainly see how someone who likes that type of game would enjoy it immensely.

I was planning on seeing the blog post about today's sales, and if I wasn't interested in anything, grabbing Deception IV.

But the post never happened and Deception's sale is now over.

If only there was an encore day like Steam. :/

Having a Vita, #yolo. Go for games when you want them and don't wait for tomorrow.

only 10% off for Guacamelee? that's really disappointing and no discount at all for prior owners

I'll wait for a better deal before picking it up on PS4

still don't like that they aren't updating the PS3/Vita/PC versions
