Messi's son looks exactly like his father

No DNA test needed. Kid is copy/paste Messi.

It's dumb to say you're better than a team in another group. The world cup rankings pretty much fall apart outside the top 4 cause of the tournament structure. Italy are better than the US but had a more difficult group. No one would ever argue that Algeria are better than Portugal in the same way..
Algeria would have had a very good chance against portugal. portugal isn't a team imo.

So, you're still behind the US. That's okay. Maybe do an aggregate with the EU?

really, though, don't stop exporting that chocolate

Haha yes, and for all I can say GDP is a poor metric in "contribution". USA (and Belgium, and Poland) have much more worthy contributions than "mmmmmoooonnnnneeyyyyyyy".

Ha. Bradley was far from the worst player on the US squad. Jones/Dempsey/Zusi looked worse today than he did. Bradley was almost always the man leading the attack with his runs and passes down the side to Yedlin. And you can always count on him to run back to aid on defense.

WTF America, Bradley is your best player, i saw the whole match, and he was the only one that understood the game, he had timing, vision, hes is by far your best player .

But I don't have a team, HOW DO I PICK A TEAM!?

The way most people do it I guess, is (assuming you're an American):

Start watching matches with American players involved. In the PL, Howard at Everton would be a good shout, or Dempsey at a club like the Sounders. From there, you might find yourself following that team more.

Or Arsenal might beat Everton 6-0 one day and you'll think "fuck that team was awesome to watch, gonna watch them more", so you decide to do that.

I think an easy way for a lot of new fans to join in is to watch the Champions League, because even without affiliations it's fun to see the big guns go at each other.

USA came out of a group with Germany, Portugal, Ghana.

don't even try bro

I'm glad that was a pretty clean game. No ref controversies, no weird calls, and no biting. One extra minute was a little heart breaking but we had opportunities to score multiple times so we needed to capitalize on those instead of worrying about extra time.

The problem is that CONCACAF makes him look like a god, plus he can definitely do better than he has been doing. Everything after Julian Green came on is what we have come to expect from him at all times.

You realize i don't care ? Also the over patriotism of americans annoys me, and not just in football. Actually the football side of it is the less annoying part of it.

I'm just happy to see the USA dreams crushed by Belgium.

You should probably back up such a statement. If you don't want to appear to be an asshole. And no one wants to appear to be an asshole and generalize 350 million people.

Can you not just accept that someone is happy for their team?

Why do you want to continuously kick someone(s) when they're down?

I don't have a problem with that, but anyone who watched the completely can easily say that we played really bad in the first 90 minutes. Now if you want to turn the events the way you like, then sure go ahead. But keep that thing up when other teams plays - Argentina, Germany etc. The amount of shit they get when they score 1 goal or goal less in extra time is unbelievable.

BELGIUM BELGIUM!!!

YEAAAAaaaahhhhhh

Finally a game where they dominated. Unfortunately they needed 20 shots on goal to score. And after 2-0 the game should have been over. But hey, good game and we're through. Great result. And Argentina isn't invincible in the next round.
