PlayStation Network Thread (Vita/PS3/PS4) | July 2014

So I just picked up a 64gb memory card for my Vita and I need some recommendations to fill up the space. I have 8gb left. I already have the following games installed:

I love JRPGs and RPGs of all sorts. So, any recommendations for me Vita GAF?

Nice collection you have there!
You could try Ys: Memories of Celceta or Demon Gaze.

Can any UK cats testify to Gradius Collection (PSP) running on the Vita?

I'm itching to buy it but I can't find any confirmation it will work. I have a PS3 so it's cool if it needs transferring that way.

I bought Tales of Xillia. I have never played a tales game but the sale was too good.

I need to know what i am getting into. Any tips would be great.

It doesn't I bought it and Castlevania Dracula X Chronicles, you can't download them onto Vita or transfer from PS3.

Bollocks. Thanks, man. I suspected that might be the case since there's literally no good reason for it not to work.

Oh well, saved myself £8 I guess. Sigh.

People say Jude side for the first playthrough is the best option.

Other than that... I dunno. The game does quite a good job explaining the basics.

II'm still trying to figure out how putting all of that on a 64gb card is possible!

Yeah, Im surprised too!!
Btw that is a AWESOME list! I just realized that I probably have a much more interesting system then I thought. Im feeling bad for ignoring those old titles, just checked and most of them are cheap (like 6$) and a lot better then many expensive games out there. I think I will buy some PSOne / PSP classics to fill up my Vita.

Crash games are available/functionnal in Europe

Oh I see! Damn!! Why isnt it possible with an USA account! T-T

Be careful some of my list were only available for vita for a short window when PSN glitched out. They all work just fine but some are no longer listed as Vita compatible on PSN :(

Every game I search on Vita will be playable on the system, right?
Cause I searched for Grandia and Legend of Mana and they are avaiable to download there. =P

Any games purchasable from the Vita PSN should work. That's how it was in the past anyways. Mostly done my shopping via the website the last 4 months or so. Can anyone confirm for sure?

Thats good then!!
The only problem about it is the L2 / R2 being simulated at the rear touch. I hope that if Sony try again another portable system in the future they build triggers on it! I would easily change the rear touch entirely by 2 triggers!

You can change it to front touch for most games if you prefer that instead. Hold down PS button in game and configurable controls should be under settings

So Vita GAF, what whats the word on Demon Gaze? I have tried other dungeon crawlers on the 3DS and usually don't get to far, but I seem to keep wanting to play them.

What don't you like about 3DS dungeon crawlers? I personally love the Etrian Odyssey games, but I find manual map-drawing to be a chore. Demon Gaze draws the map automatically as you move through the dungeons.

Would like to pitch in there to anyone still on the fence about Borderlands 2 vita.
I have never played this game before. I only bought it because my local Taiwanese game retailer wouldn't let me buy Ground Zeroes (he said it was a rip off)
Up to about level 27 now.
Its a decent port I believe. If u can forgive the framerate. Its only gotten bad during one or two story missions for me. I played both dlc campaigns and they played well.
I have my opinions of the game but who doesn't. But as an owner of the port I would recommend it to anyone interested in picking it up.
backscreen melee for life biatch

I too didn't like the map making but still I ended up not sticking with it. The same happened to SM IV. I think the one I stuck with the longest was Strange Journey.

How easy is transferring your games onto a new memory card?

Easy peasy, I say.

Backup old card to PC/PS3 via Content Manager, restore it into the new card.
If you don't want to move everything, you can copy game by game to PC/PS3 and then to the new card (via CM too).

It's time, I need a second PS4 controller, preferably red, but why are they so much more expensive in Europe? Have they not been officially released here yet? It's ridiculous...

Man, that Child of Light demo was short but sweet. It gave you enough to get a general impression of the game. While its gameplay is pretty typical for an rpg, it being a new IP, having a new world, unique style and its own twist with handling certain things, it feels fresh. I'm pleasantly surprised. This could be a really good rpg *will buy in the future*

Impressions on R&C

First game's port has some little flaws, 3 is fine, 2 is downloading as we speak.

Keep those impressions coming, thank you!

Maybe after Type-0.

And FFXII.

Just finished Virtue's Last Reward (Amazing game) and am now thinking about buying Project Diva f since I feel like playing a rhythm game. Should I do it Vita-GAF?

Can always go lazy and play them on legend.

Yeah I could but I think it wouldn't be as much fun that way.

Probably wait for PDF2 which will be releasing soon. DJ Max Technica Tune probably for some rhythm game fix.

I'm still playing Hatsuna Miku Project Diva 2nd on the PSP (extreme challenge), otherwise I would have already jumped at f. Those games are soooooo good, DO IT.

Snagged them along with a slew of otherwise incompatible titles and downloaded them all to my PC as a Vita backup during the PSN Vita universal compatibility glitch a few months back ;)

I can take pictures as proof if you want.

Heh lucky you, I'm still bummed I couldn't get them at the time.

Is there any advantage in waiting for PDF2? The track list is probably completely different anyway, isn't it?

Yes. Also buy Project Diva F 2nd and Project Mirai Remix when they're out.

Thx guys. Is the Extra Song Pack worth the 8€?

The track list in PDF2nd is different from PDf.

The extra song DLC gives you 6 additional songs. If you like the game and want more songs while waiting for the next game to be released, it's worth the money.

One arrow, one life, lots of bosses – can you survive Titan Souls on PS4/Vita?
Armed with a single, indestructible arrow, Titan Souls drops you into the midst of a desolate world you have no knowledge of. Exploration will soon reveal the hiding places of the Titans that reside here, and it’s your job to take them down.

Adrenaline-fueled, tense and punishing boss battles are a love of ours that we think a lot of gamers share. These kind of battles are the very core of the gameplay in Titan Souls. There are no health bars – a single strike will end your life, and a single hit to a Titan’s weak spot is all you’ll need to pull off a kill.
We’re all amazed at how far Titan Souls has come since starting out as a jam game six months ago – it’s been a hugely exciting journey culminating in the announcement of the game coming to PS4 and PS Vita on the PlayStation stage at E3. We can’t wait to further improve, expand and show off the game as we approach our early 2015 release.
