Hmm, well, we probably agree on the SNES one then. I've always liked Story (really liked the fruit mechanic, no baby = no headaches, loved the levels), and New Island works really well as an exploration-based platformer. Have you played it? I do not expect everyone to like it, but the bad rap it got was way underserved and mostly came from people who bought into that movement started by people who hadn't played it in the first place.

No, I haven't played YNI, but that's mostly because I DID play YIDS, and that game (from the same people, essentially) was pretty dull. Woolly World has potential to be the best of the bunch, purely thanks to the combo of YI mechanics, no babies, decent graphics for the first time since the original, and some inventive level design so far.
At least Yoshi's Story gave us the best stage in Melee.

For now, we can meet in the middle and pile up on YIDS which, indeed, was very mediocre.

Dan is to Jeff as League of Legends is to Dota 2, the differences are plentiful but only minor.
I remember he mentioned another package with 100 super famicom stuff. Not sure if he bought it though. Kinda thinking he did since all the japanese stuff is on the yellow bag Dan was rifling through.
