Just to keep you updated.

No Brad hasn't replied to my PMs yet. I PM-ed him on both of his GAF and GiantBomb's accounts.

He's probably too busy, or too sleepy after eating a sandwich.

We've raised enough for a 1 hour pony ride http://www.ponyparty.com/PonyParties/PriceList.html

WTF, that's expensive. I just googled some German ranches to look up the prices, and they're all between 10-20€ for 1h on a pony. Edit: I guess this is a pony *party*, whatever that entails.

What have we done.

Also, should someone worry about taxes!?!
I'm in MA so tax will be 5%. With a $493 total currently, I think we can cover it, especially when we're only spending like $220 so far.

I'd like to place the order by Sunday afternoon EST. So still plenty of time to decide what we're actually buying.

Make sure you pick up a bottle for him. Something nice, not the supermarket shit people usually send then. Pretty sure he's a scotch man.

I rarely drink, but I know where the liquor stores are. Tell me what to get and I'll add it to the fridge.

Reading Dan's tweet about getting a parking ticket. I also don't know what Parking on Grades mean?

In San Francisco, you have to turn your wheels toward the curb when you park on a hill. I'm not sure if Driver San Francisco incorporated this feature, but it probably should have.

You have to curb your wheels on hills. Towards the curb downhill and away from curb up hill so if your brakes fail they drive into the curb and don't run down the hill.

Personal favourite is a Macallan 18, everyone loves it, it's a great giftable drink. Obviously depends where you live, but you should be able to pick up a bottle for like ~$100.

Considering they have arcade cabinets plugged in on their floor It doesn't seem like they would care about a mini fridge.

Sounds good. I think a fridge and bottle of alchol is a good gift. Then donate the rest to a puppy charity or something in his name (Matthew Rorie of Alpha Protocol fame).

San Francisco is hilly, and has alot more people and buildings. Other places in the world might have less than both, so they don't care if your car goes careening down a hill if it's brakes go out while parked on a hill.

See Grades

Learning new stuff is always good. Cheers! I live in a hilly area so i better find out if we have parking on grades here

8-4 should really look into hiring Jeff and Dan. They did a great job translating Hanjuku Hero Ah Sekai Yo Hanjuku Nare. They even localized the name to Ninja Egg.

Fantastic work

Would a car really start rolling if the handbrake (parking brake) failed. Would not leaving it in gear, or park for automatics, hold it on all but the steepest of hills?

I'm at the end of the Freedom stream and still can't believe that Dan Ryckert is now working at Giant Bomb. It's as if there was a Goddess and She answered my prayers.

I've been wanting this for years.

Hey Aaron thanks for coordinating the whole gift thing! Just saw my donation went through to you this morning! I'm kinda checked out so I'll try to keep tabs but just wanted to confirm my participation or whatevs!

It's a safety measure, in case you accidentally leave your car in neutral.

Not as big a deal with automatics, it's a law that probably goes back to when most cars were manual.

If putting it in gear was enough we wouldn't need hand brakes.
I learned that the hard way when my car went rolling into my neighbor's fence right as I got out. :p

It shouldn't happen, but it does happen sometimes.

Park is not intended to keep a car in place on an incline, especially on hills such as can be found in San Francisco.
