oh, yeah. That's way easier than sifting through all the TNT videos. duh.

Yeah. The search function on GB has always been garbage, but at least they've always been pretty good with tagging videos to the correct Wiki page. So your best bet when searching for a video on GB is always to search for the game in question and see if it's in the video section.

The absolute best way to search for GB videos is Google.

Decided to stay home tonight to nurse a pretty massive hangover, and I'm watching old GB content. The Fortune Street TNT is still some of the best shit GB has ever done, I had forgotten how amazing it was.

Think I need to watch the Blue Stinger Super Replay after this, heard some good things!

Somehow I never got around to watching that, it was on my "when I'm sick in bed" list. Doubt I will now, watching Ryan's old stuff still bums me out.

Took me about 6 months until I managed to watch/listen to stuff with Ryan in it again.

Watching the Freedom stream the dota community look like a bunch of dicks. Brad gets tech issues, team pauses and instantly the other team unpauses every time.

It's been like that since the W3 days.

That moment had me like.

Yep. That happens from time to time, however a lot of the time, it's just one jerk on the other team who keeps unpausing and the other 4 would be fine with waiting.

I dunno about MOBAs, but I'm going to unpause every single time in an SC2 ladder match. More than not, it's used as a means to BM or throw the opponent off before cheesing them.

Even when a perfectly good reason is given by the other team?
They told the other guys Brad was having keyboard issues, and still they unpaused the game and killed his dude while he was standing still doing nothing. That's douchebaggery of the highest level no matter how you look at it.

Yeah, in a team situation like that, it sounds pretty shitty.

For those taking part in the cold soda initiative the Google doc has been updated with a letter for Rorie. Read it and see if it is appropriate.

That Twisted Metal encyclopedia has now given me the impetus to buy it for PS3. I've only played the PSP version, but I had so much fun with it.

It's shitty in SC2 as well, no matter how you justify it.

I'll agree it sucks in that situation too when someone needs to pause for a valid reason, but as someone who's played thousands of matches and literally 95% of the time it's to screw with me? I really don't care.

Nah. People have things to do and nobody cares about your problems. The game pushes on and people can go live their lives. When one person's problem is potentially draining the time of nine other people you just have to take your lumps.

You're part of the problem if can't wait a minute to properly resolve a game you just sunk 50 minutes of your time into.

The other team had a disconnect at the beginning of the game and paused. Brads team did not unpause.

Dota games take anywhere from 20 to 60 minutes, sometimes even longer. You shouldn't be queueing for a game if you have anything else important to do in that time.

Kitchen is on fire afk

That freedom stream was fun. Hopefully my retron doesnt have as many issues as Jeff did there. Mine seems to be working fine so far.

Yep.

And they didn't have to.

I'm not saying they're not dicks, but at the end of the day he's at a thousand hours, what is a game they were going to lose anyway that gets unpaused?

And I'm saying this as someone who waits out pauses very patiently 95% of the time. Shit happens, whatever.

Yup. Fortunately, it's not a super common occurrence, but every once in a while, you'll get asshats like that. Any time the enemy team pauses, I'll usually wait upwards of 3 min before requesting an unpause.

Hope they do a bombastica of Twisted Metal: Black at some point. Still my favorite in the series.

Don't really agree about the genre not having a place at all any more though. The newer Twisted Metal was just a bit limited in the campaign and visuals which didn't make it the next step up that a lot of people wanted.

but imagine what your MMR would be if you just immediately unpaused all the time!

All I want is KoF 94 - KoF 99 Bombasticas, with in depth explanations about all the characters and mechanics.

Bring it on Jason and Jeff.

Rorie Fridge fund current status:

$502.86 is the current total from all contributors.
$229.99 is the cost of the current fridge choice, including shipping.
http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00DSJ7DLY/?tag=neogaf0e-20
(if there's tax it'll be a little over $4).
$200 will go as a donation to a dog shelter. Probably this one:
http://www.coppersdream.org/gift-package.html
(that way there's a gift package we can add to the fridge).
$72.87 remains unspent. So what I really need is some links to things we can decorate or stuff inside the fridge. We shouldn't let any of it go to waste.

Renpatsu added a suggestion for the letter in the google doc. Others should look it over, and make suggestions if they have any. I'll be adding everyone's names to it and including it with the fridge.

Wow the final rounds of Jeff/Jason in SF2 and Jeff/Dan in Hello Kitty during the freedom stream were so tense. I just wish Brad had participated. No way would he have allowed Jeff to get away with picking Ninja Kid.

I like it. Here's some magnets that might be good decoration, they're about to go out of stock though: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B0062NLB6G/?tag=neogaf0e-20

No wonder the moba community is awful.

Zaph is right, shipping costs might be more than you are expecting. Don't end up getting stuck paying $50 or more out of pocket when we raised enough to cover this whole crazy endeavor.

I'm surprised no one's mentioned a thermometer gauge for the fridge as something else to get. Given Rorie's preoccupation with temperatures, it seems an obvious choice for a fridge meant to thumb the nose at CBSi's poor vending machine maintenance.

Smart man. Add it to the list.

What's the point of an extra cold fridge if you don't get that visual reassurance that your coke is cold as fuck.
