I've played my fair share of DOTA, and dabbled in LoL and DOTA2. I couldn't care less if you find my statement dumb, my opinion is that, in general, the communities behind these games is straight up toxic, and not just to new players.

Don't worry, he has a whole machine full of soda that is almost the right temperature right on his floor. He can stock up from that.

You know, watching the Fortune Street TNT, I got the suspicion that Jeff knew more than he led on, saying they had just cracked the game open, that he'd never played a game from the Itadaki Street series, etc.

Then he's the first one to bring back the four suits to the bank and level up while Ryan and Vinny already had all four of them for quite a while not knowing what to do.

Five minutes later, Jeff straight up reveals triumphantly that he'd taken a peek at the Wiki page and read that you gotta return the suits to the bank.

I'm sorry you feel that way. I experienced nothing outrageous starting out in Dota. Just your usual MMO shenanigans. You will get the odd maniac, as you will in any other multiplayer game, but the tools are there to report them and the reprimand is usually swift and fair.

If you ever want to "dabble" again, both the Giant Bomb duders and the GAF guys here have their own respective guilds/communities you can play with. I've yet to have a single toxic experience with either group.

Yeah, the name list in the google doc isn't very usable, there are quite some names missing. Plus, some contribution amounts are clearly wrong (or did Flambe really donate 335 dollar?). Using the comments from the paypal donations is the better way. I forgot to put in a comment, but just use my gaf username, it is the same as my giantbomb account.
 
Thanks for the comments guys. I tried to lean on sincerity rather than attempt to be too funny. Hopefully it captures the feelings you guys have too. Also whoever added the postscript good job, it wouldn't be a letter to Rorie without it.

That moment when they finally turn up the game speed, but don't mess with the chat speed DESPITE SEEING AND ACKNOWLEDGING THE OPTION TO DO SO.

Also, District A is about to fall apart, haha. Patrick brought this upon himself, though.

Haha oh no, I threw my name in there but didn't scroll over and see that the amounts were beside there. I blame my small laptop screen =[

Now the 'Total' being under the names there makes SO much more sense..

In MA but the rates should be similar. Never shipped something quite this big or heavy before. So I think we've got a good selection of items. I'll put the rest towards shipping and cover the rest as my contribution. Most of the stuff isn't shipping through prime. So we'll see when all of it will arrive so I can put it together.
 
 
I worry that the wrapping paper is not a roll, just a single poster sized sheet. I don't think the fridge will fit in it.

I've been meaning to watch this again. It came out a few days before Ryan passed but I didn't watch it until after. Ryan died right in the middle of a really bad time in my life and it just really brought me down even further. I never even met the guy, but you grow an attachment to people who make you happy against all odds.

I watched this video and was choking from laughing so hard. I really needed it. GB has kind of gotten me through some tough stuff.

The latter, but with $513 in paypal plus my own contribution, we'll be able to cover it. As long as we're not in a rush, shipping should be $50-70.
