PlayStation Network Thread (Vita/PS3/PS4) | July 2014

This may be a really stupid question but I'm only recently really getting into my PS3/PS+. Things that I buy, such as movies and games and what not, as well as free games that come with PS+, are bound to the account, right?

So when I inevitably get a PS4, I still have access to all of my stuff?

I blame Nintendo that this kind of thing even needs asking

Yes you can access it all on any system you log into your account with

Cool, thanks. I didn't know this wasn't the case with Nintendo, kind of makes me sad for if I get around to getting the WiiU.

Yes, but you won't be able to play the exclusive content of the other platforms (PS3, PSV games) on the PS4 unless stated otherwise.

lol I went to my local Toys R Us earlier to check out what games were on clearance and I saw a single lone PSP sitting on the shelf next to 2 PS4s and a TLoU PS3 bundle

The key is pattern memorization and optimisation. That and single color bonusses with all clear bonusses :3

If I really tried, I could contribute 10k blocks to the world block on a single Vita charge but no one else is playing it...

I remember when the game was announced and all the hype that was still surrounding the Vita. It's such a shame how drastically the situation changed over the course of a year.

This is funny because, my friend and I were just having a conversation on dedication and hobbies. If I dedicated myself to it more rather than playing once every few months I guess I'd be set :p.

It's never bad to dedicate yourself to Lumines. Join our cause in clearing the world block.

Lumines scratches that Tetris/Pacman itch. So your friends can abhor their scores in shame when you beat them in twice the points.
 
Pulled the trigger and ordered WRC4 and MXGP, since they were available from a US seller with prime shipping... that was already too much, so I'll hold off on Moto GP 14 for now.

Ohhhhh GameStop.

Sony really needs to put out a vita slim only sku. I don't want borderlands 2 and I already have a bigger memory card than what they provide. I would consider getting a 2000 for cheaper than 200. Not sure if I would want to sell my 1000 though. A vita tv would also be nice even if only to play p4 golden on a tv. Maybe I should just keep OLED and get a vita tv.

That looks like a "cheap" project to make. Use sprites for characters and pre-rendered backgrounds (full 2D!). You don't need to make it Valkyria Chronicles style. It could make a realy nice downloable title (not just for Vita but other platforms).

I'm not into SRPGs, but I'd give it a try. Heck, I want to give a try to SRPGs in general but I haven't done it yet xD
 
Hmm is there any reason to not import TLoU HD asian version for PS4 ?

Play asia has it for 50$ only which is much cheaper compared to European prices

I've had this grip since day 1 and it's very comfortable to hold, even for bigger hands. The downside is it won't fit in most carrying cases, but it's definitely worth it i think. The triggers are a bit loose on mine but i don't mind it much.

Congrats, remember to use the wish (you get from blowing out the candles on your b-cake) to make the Vita more successful.

This is also very important to do if someone find a single eyelash or if someone sees a falling star.

I do. Triggers are fine but grips are too short. It's definitely more comfortable than going without it, but I feel the Nyko one would've been better. Larger grips and double battery duration as a nice bonus.

Wait, there's an end to it? My gf usually played for over an hour, stopping because the battery ran out or because she failed on purpose once she got bored, so I just assumed it was endless.
Or maybe she finished it more than once and I never noticed. All I know is that she kicked me off the local leaderbords.
 
Just starting Chapter 4 in Trails in the Sky.
I can feel this building up to some big revelations in this chapter, everything seems to finally be coming together.
 
I'm still betting on the side that majority of people will be disappointed in one way or another on Sora no Kiseki SC. I personally rate it above FC, but I am pretty sure people would call me one of the crazies.

Protip to everyone: FC and SC is one whole game in two different games - if you know what I mean. At the least, be sure to have a good run at the requests (aka sidequests) on the guild (
including hidden AKA non-posted request
). You won't be able to do some of the request in SC if the events/requests didn't happen in FC.

In fact, you should keep this in mind, as this is also in Sen No Kiseki. I haven't played Zero/Ao, but I'd presume it's the same.

How come?

I've been doing every side quest in the guild and a fair share of ones that weren't posted in the guild too. Just ended chapter 3 and I'm Junior Bracer Rank 2, I expect I'll rank up soon since I've been Rank 2 for awhile.

hmm I had one... sold it..
hmm didn't want the triggers scratching my L and R buttons :/
comfort wise... I would think the HORI and Nyko Battery Grips are much better

the only reason I can think of is DLC... it maybe region-locked for DLCs.. so do check
