And work never stopped me from watching WC though, I take time off.

I remember reading that what European TV pays for the WC doesnt even compare to what USA networks pay for because most countries over there broadcast the WC in public TV and in the US (and Mexico and most latin american countries) private companies pay to broadcast.

Also, forget amount of viewers. You and I know FIFA knows only about money and the fact is that Fox and Telemundo paid 1.2 billion dollars for 2018 and 2022. The most than any other country in the world. RIght now its wishful thinking but I'm positive that in the future we'll get the games played in primetime regardless of where they play. We deserve primetime WC games when they're being played over here!
