I don't know how much the rest of you know about Brazilian culture (I'm an expert), but honor and shame are huge parts of it. It's not like it is in Spain where you can win Football matches by being an asshole. If you get beaten in Brazil, you bring shame to yourself, and the only way to get rid of that shame is repentance.

What this means is the Brazilian public, after witnessing this game, is not going to watch the worldcup final, nor will they purchase FIFA merchandise. This is HUGE. You can laugh all you want, but Brazil has alienated an entire nation with this scoreline.

Brazil, publicly apologize and play Neymar or you can kiss Brazilian football goodbye.
