He's right though, fuck Messi. Robben will make him look like a total clown.

Probably.

But there's a semifinal tomorrow which argentina is playing in.

If he is upset people keep mentioning the best player in the world who's having great tournament, then I have no idea what he expected.

Spain - Netherlands was still better though. But I might be biased ;)

there can't be anything worse than being humilliated in your own country. specially if people expect big things from you.

I wonder how many people cried besides those in gifs we've seen, the mood in the stadium must have been at an all time low.

He wasn't done in Inter, he won Pichichi in Madrid. Then he got injured and fat and Capello didn't want him. He was a boss in 2002 for Madrid and Brazil even after the Inter injury.

Ronaldo probably peaked the highest of any player I've ever seen but his career as a whole doesn't compare to a lot of his fellow world-class contemporaries. Injuries played a part for sure but it's not like Ronaldo had this amazing work ethic either.

Sorry but the level he reached with Real Madrid is nothing short of a miracle, that's the point. He WAS done at Inter I mean he had the same injury twice.

Lol at people feeling sorry for Luiz, he's even worse than Fred lol, gave the first goal to the Germans and from there it was a festival of goals.

And Germany made 4 shitty matches and just 2 great games (Portugal and Brazil)

I thought the Algeria match was very entertaining.

So 3 entertaining ones, which is more than most teams on this WC can say.

Edit: sorry your team lost, but let's be honest: they were one of the worst Seleções in Brazilian history.

Can't quite believe what I've just seen.

Like, as an Arsenal supporter this isn't the first time I've witnessed a major team collapse like this ;_; , but to the host nation of the World Cup (Brazil!) in the semi-finals is incredible to behold....

Don't know how to react really.

Keep moving the goal posts. You're still utterly wrong, he continued scoring after he was "done" that's the bloody point.

Remember when Germany beat England 4-2 (It was 4-2 guys goal line technology just wans't there) and Argentina 4-0 in WC 2010. Man now I don't feel so bad for those two.

Well, I think Ghana players are feeling awesome right now seeing as they're the only ones who could contain the German fury.

this team thought they were Brasil, like actual Brasil, and they arent. No idea how they got this far, maybe cause they're playing at home.
They had basically only faced South American competition before this match, and they barely ever lose against non-European team in a WC for some reason, it's happened only twice in the history of the WC (and they lost to many random European sides, like Norway in 1998). The one European team they played before today, they had to resort to their Yakuza connection to beat. But yea, I guess UEFA deserves fewer spots.

Now rooting for the Netherlands to win the whole thing, stay away from our 4 world cup record Germany.
