hmm, I'm more of a reader of his stuff. He's into jrps and other stuff GB isn't very interested in. That's a shame if that's the case though. :/

Hmm, I prefer reading manga, but that probably because I grew up in small town in Asia that doesn't have much access to TV shows.

My first mangas were Doraemon (
the one where Doraemon went back to the future, and Nobita used the 'liar potion'
and the first Dragon Ball. And that's like around 20+ years ago.

I think everyone should just stop watching after the first half, makes for a good stand alone thing and you don't miss much by not watching the second half. And is this thread now turning into the Two Best Friends thread which is about 90 % talk about anime? We can only hope.

Anyways, Vinny/Alex Premium content at 6pm my local time? This truly is the best of times.

You can treat the first half as it's own thing and ignore the existence of the second half if you want.
 
EmCee is making me want to watch Onepiece but there's like 600 episodes and I watched a bunch on 4kids when I was younger and I don't know that I could re-watch content. Is the manga a good substitute?

I'm also incredibly OCD and will force myself to see something through if I start it.

I once refused to walk out of a theatre when watching The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning when all my friends had left.

My god that movie was boring.

Yeah the manga is great. It's a little more goofy in tone, but still as much fun. It also has the best single chapter of manga that i've ever read.
 
Watched 10 mins of the quick look, saw Punk Hazard. I'm at the start of that arc (as of about 6 months ago). How far ahead does it spoil?

I was considering getting this game. I'm running in to the same issues as the new Naruto games.

As far as I know the 4Kids version was pretty butchered and cut, so it's not exactly the same.
 
Even for the english though there is a pretty clear distinction between bars and pubs. If they are watching soccer in one of those fake irish themed chains then it is a pub.

Yes, many (including me) would argue that the manga is better.

I was just thinking about the fridge thing this thread has going, and I feel writing "Giant Bomb" on a big metal object with wires, electronics, and gas inside it would be a bad idea -- especially as it has to go through the mail. It is just asking for problems, and something like that would most likely be opened to get checked. Sometimes such checks completely screw up, or at least slow down deliveries

Looking at other mailbags, I have seen people write "GB" or "Giant B" along with the usual address and items seem to get there fine. That might help the fridge get through inscathed.
