PLEASE show me a racing game that looks even close to this with the weather effects, lighting and insane geometry. I want to play it immediately. I have a gaming level PC that can play almost every modern game @ max settings and hit 60fps, so let me know.
I think The Crew could be a good underdog.
It's not one, he said there are multiple games. I have all the platforms too, so we can play multiplayer and have the pick of the litter!

Gotta say, watched some Gamersyde videos and it's not looking bad at all...but going against Driveclub and FH2 is just stupid, could've easily picked that up this month just to play a racer, now it doesn't even cross my mind to buy it, at least not before a huge price cut and in late 2015 as i tend to play racing game for a LONG time

That driveclub trailer seemed pretty damn realistic to me.
And when I mean first party racers I mean serious racing games, Wipeout and Motorstorm don't really count they are more fantasy (doesn't mean they aren't fun)

I don't understand how anyone can NOT be blown away by the graphics. It literally tricks my brain into thinking it's real footage for a second every time i watch it. No exaggeration.
Man! Apparently it's open season on astonishing looking racing games I must be missing! Since you too have clearly been playing some astounding looking racing games, can you recommend any that even come close to looking like this? I want to play it right now. What sucks about that is that I also always ask about these games, but they never reveal them. It's like a secret club that doesn't want to share the best looking games.

Game looks amazing visually and impressions on gameplay are positive. I don't know how you guys can tell how the game plays by looking instead of playing. I think I'll believe my own eyes and people who have played the game.

The way the car moves in a game, the engine that handles physics it's technology too. And this one raves NFS2, I used the same method in my own dissertation, more than 10 years ago.

GTAV, GT5, PGR 3 & 4, Grid 1 & 2, Dirt 2 & 3, pretty much all the recent Need For Speed games.
I mean the graphics aren't that far above the games I mentioned.
Higher LOD backgrounds, high res textures & 1080p withstanding.

People posted Dirt 3 screens shots at max settings awhile ago & it honestly looked better than this.
Drive Club looks like a game that can be done on 360 & PS3 with lower IQ all around, but 100% of the game assets all intact.
I still expecting these massive draw mega distances with tens of thousands of flamingos that the developer keep saying are a one in a generation thing. Haven't seen them.
There were a few good shots of large scale mountains covered with trees, kinda like in the Dirt, GT & PGR, & NFS games only with higher level of detail trees.
That's the closest I been to being impressed by this game.

GTA V pretty much shits on all racing games when it comes to car physics, destructibility & all around weather variation. Rain, drizzle fog, snow (use the cheat codes), freezing ice rain, sleet, thunderstorms and visible wind conditions. All real time to boot.
Nothing comes even close.
