That female fire emblem character who was a assist trophy in Brawl probably has the best chance of appearing as a playable character. But then again, Roy was in Melee and completely Nonexistant in Brawl, I think he is in the character roster on Project M.

I saw the video, everyone. Here's how it went:
The smash bros logo is cut through the black, cue flames.
Fade to: A dark cave, where a nervous Pokemon Trainer is walking with Pikachu and Charizard, wary of impending danger. As he walks by, a glowing purple light appears in the darkness.
Cut to: a scene of a race track. A familiar blue vehicle is seen in the distance, speeding towards the camera.
Cut to: Deep space. A flapping sound can be heard, which is suddenly broken by a loud roar. A purple blur speeds across the screen, only a long and bony tail can be seen for a second. The camera pans around to show that the shadowy creature is headed towards earth.
Cut back to the dark cave. The pokemon trainer hears a noise and turns around, seeing the now bright purple light. As he tries to look through the blinding light, he sees a mysterious figure coming to him through the light. But before he can see who it is, there's a loud crash as a blue F-Zero car smashes through the side of the cave. The cockpit slowly begins to open, but before the driver is revealed, a loud roar can be heard from behind the trainer. The trainer shifts around nervously, unsure of which of the three threats to react to. Before he can decide, he hears a loud, piercing note.
"LAAAAAA"
A small white man with a bowtie walks out of the purple light. He is singing. The cockpit of the F-Zero vehicile opens, revealing another small white man with a bow tie. He stands next to the other and begins to sing as well. From behind them, a third small white man appears, holding a purple tail and a boom box making roaring noises. He sets these down and begins to sing as well. He is off pitch. The other two stand next to him and frown.

If the Gematsu leaks hold true (and it looks that way), we're basically guaranteed to be getting Chrom from Fire Emblem, Chorus Kids from Rhythm Heaven, and Shulk from Xenoblade in this game.
