I have to say though, seeing Brad tell Dan about the arrow at the bottom right at the end of the Mousecraft QL seemed a bit.....strange.
Usually Brad is the one who misses those things D

It's almost as though the person who's not playing and explaining the game can devote way more attention to noticing minute details on the screen!

Cmon Brad don't always just respond to the negativity. You're such a jovial guy on quick looks and live shows.

Hey Brad I've noticed a lot of mobile games quicklooks in the last week. Is it a conscious decision or just a luck of the draw thing? To be clear I'm really not complaining, I'll always welcome more content, I'm surprised to suddenly see that much mobile stuff (especially after what you said on the podcast).

Also you guys should quicklook Civilization Rev 2.

Probably because we're in the midst of the summer drought and there's not much else coming out.

They've talked about QLing games before and just stopping the recording when they realize it's just a crappy mobile game on PC.

I wonder if it's just that these mobile games have been better.

Often, the PC versions remove any kind of iOS tropes we've come to look down on as kinda sleazy. Some good ones off the top of my head: Tiny Thief, Meltdown, Reaper, Year Walk (not that this had anything of the sort on iOS), Rymdkapsel, Kingdom Rush, etc.

man Psyduck is the coolest.
man Brad is the coolest.

congrats to Drake - he's gonna do great things there.
Playstation really has some well known folks in the gaming biz.

I'm 32, have never driven, don't know or care about D&D, never had mustard, etc.. Not sure how that makes me sheltered, just have no interest in the stuff you might have done or are interested in?

It's not like I have an "interest" in driving, I just don't have the luxury to not drive. How you've been able to do it, I don't know. It's a pretty typical thing and it's not strange to be surprised someone hasn't. And in Dan's case, he specifically stated he picked places to live with the idea of avoiding highways in mind. So... It's not as if he just lacked the opportunity, he was going out of his way to avoid it. That's where the "sheltered" part comes in. I don't want to called him sheltered because of its negative connotations, but I can't think of a better word.

Also, this is to you and everyone else commenting on the D&D thing, I'm not into D&D either. I've never participated in a game, I've never even been in the same room as a game. But through living in American culture, I just know that it's a pen and paper game. Practically all depictions of nerds in media has them circled around a table playing D&D at one point. I didn't search this info out, I've just absorbed it through exposure to media. Not saying Dan needs to go read up on D&D, just a lot of people know it's a pen and paper game originally. And plus, this is only one part of his minute ignorance on things. Calling that bellows a turkey baster repeatedly, not knowing about Africa's involvement in WWII, not knowing what Shroedinger's cat is. They are all MINOR things, I've just noticed it. It makes me appreciate Brad's encyclopedic knowledge on weird stuff more. But still, Dan's great. Glad he's on the team.

Dan tweeted he really wants to play Red Alert 2 for UPF. I hope this happens, i loved that game.

He should do a Bombastica of it as well. It's pretty cool having a new person with a love of new/different games, no offence to the guys but their tastes are kinda a known quantity at this point.

Watched some episodes of Kindaichi. As a Conan fan, the solution to the first case was pretty obvious. Don't know who did it first, though. :p Anyway, show is right up my alley, thanks again for the recommendation, sub_o. Gonna look for the mangas, as well.

Can't believe they hired Black Yoshi when they could have hired the best person for the job, whoever that may be.

White Yoshi is straight-up refusing to accept the situation. I never noticed the mutual animosity till now, dang.

Ugh no. It's literally just the first Civ Rev with better graphics.
