My PS3 is no longer connected so I am not sure if it shows there but it shows up on the PS Vita's store. Here's a pic. I know it doesn't show up on the website where I initially bought the game.

I think (just a theory) what's happening here is that the store is recognizing them as having once been Plus games after you purchase them. But they're not currently Plus games, so you can't get them for free through Plus now. They're still showing as $0.99 for those who haven't bought them.
 
bought all the ps1 games on the offchance they come to ps4 and maybe i'll give them a shot on the ps3/vita as well.

can't beat that value.

Oh ok, but it's not currently being offered. It's not in my history so I guess I'm out of luck.

Though there are several of the games being offered today for 99 cents I did get previously as a PS Plus member. (Thomas Was Alone, Double Dragon Neo, Mucnhes Oddysee, The Cave, Machinarium, Malicious, Vita version of Urban Trials, and Velocity Ultra.)

Thats a great theory. Wonder if its true. If doesn't show up for anyone else on the Vita's store then I guess you are correct.

I agree with you on the footage. Can anyone defend Syphon Filter? I've heard tons of praise for this series and people clamoring for it to come back. Is it worth a dollar to experience what all the fuss is about?

P.S. I spent 10 whole dollars today on this sale!

As neogaf's resident expert of the syphon filter games here's a small buying guide:

-syphon filter 1: good game, controls are dated but you can tazer people until they on fire. You can get it you want to have more background for the awesome sequel.

-syphon filter 2: SP2 a great game even tough it has the exact gameplay of the previous title, the story line it what sets it apart, is like 24 in videogame form full of twists and stuff. Must have.

-syphon filter 3: I barely remember this game but it had something to do with flashbacks anyway i thought it was meh at the time. Safe to skip.

WARNING: everything i just said might be wrong because i haven't touched a syphon filter game in over 10 years so whatever.
 
Not the stuff I wanted to go on sale but there's some good stuff. Bought Legend of Dragoon, Wild Arms 1+2, and Papo & Yo. I would have bought a few others at these prices but I've already got them through PS+ which is a bummer because I would have liked to own them more permanently.
 
So I let my Plus subscription lapse (since I just don't have the money right now), and it looks like the store is totally willing to let me buy Velocity Ultra on Vita even though I got that as a Plus game. If I go through with it, will it let me play it without resubscribing? I thought that once you got a game from Plus, the system wouldn't let you buy it for use outside of the subscription?
 
It's weird, ever since the new consoles were released I've seen more and more people questioning if some of these games hold up. It's funny becuase I don't even really think if they do or not since I grew up playing them. Tank controls are fine to me. Syphon Filter is still enjoyable to me. I think they are fine still.

I played a bit of RE2 on vita recently and think it looks really nice on the screen.

Yes, but it wasn't through PS+. It was free for a week on March 2013 through the PSP and Vita stores as a Vita anniversary gift.

If you had MediaGo, you could access that store and grab it for free through there, then download it to PS3.
 
Awesome, nabbed Dino Crisis 2, Wild Arms and Virtua Fighter 2. Still deciding whether or not I'll bother with Legend of Dragoon and Wild Arms 2.
 
Picked up Wild Arms 2 and Legend of Dragoon. I played Wild Arms 1 for the first time a few months back, so figured I should try the second one. How does the second compare to the first?
 
Need advice on my potential purchase:

Wild Arms
Wild Arms 2
Dino Crisis
Dino Crisis 2

Are all of these games worth it? I've never played either series, so I'd like to just make sure that even a dollar isn't wasted before I take the plunge.

Got some new games! Tekken and Tekken 2 on my Vita now. Wish Namco would do the right thing and releas Tekken 3.
 
Picked up most of the PS1 games and other stuff like Twisted Metal: Black and Papo & Yo cause why not.

I have no idea if I will like Wild Arms 1 and 2, I played Wild Arms 3 on the PS2 years ago and liked it but I have no idea if I will enjoy it's predecessors.
