From what I've seen I think they're very similar.

Also MUSYNC just got an update of, if I'm not mistaken, 3 more songs. (For a total of 12)

I think I must have counted Kerb Eros which is an old song(?).
The first new song, 'EV.OTE ^IOV.OIA' (Or you know, however it's spelt) is a really fun playful classical piece and 'Tales of Ginkgo' is evocative of the soundtrack to an anime.

Thanks for the suggestion. Though I just tried to find one on eBay and I couldn't seem to find anything. I'm in the UK if that helps.

Sorry, don't know how the PS4 responds if you are completely offline.

And yeah, I did change the HDD on Day1 - it's super-easy. You lift the left cover (think: changing the battery from old mobile phones), 1 screw which holds the HDD cage, unmount the old HDD from the cage, mount the new one. Done.
You need a USB stick/drive with the latest firmware. The 'complete' FW, not the smaller Update file - which you can get here (look for the small grey 'Download Now' button).

Haha, I hear you. I'm waiting to see the after patch verdict from a friend/colleague who got the game for review. I played the beta and was unimpressed.
 
Finally sold off my oled Vita today for 150 on Craigslist. I was kind of sad to see it go since I've had it since launch. Ever since I bought the slim I have been trying to figure out what to do with it, so I figures I would just sell it off.

So you actually prefer the slim then? I wouldn't mind upgrading myself for the better battery life but people say the screen is way worse.

When I first handled the Vita back at the Vita heaven events, I thought it was amazing. When I bought the Slim, it just made the oled model feel like cheap plastic and the oled is already a great piece of hardware.
The screen doesn't show off some of the colors as well as the oled screen but it's still good. It's no where near as bad as some people make it out to be, especially when you compare it to the 3DS's abomination of a screen.
 
guys, I need help. my ps3 is suddenly deactivated and I can't play any of my digital games. when I tried to activate the ps3 again, it said that I reach the maximum number of activated ps3.

I tried to deactivate all Playstation device from SEN website, but it said "You have deactivated your devices recently and cannot use this feature at this time." anyone know when I can deactivate ps3 through internet again? I google around and someone mention 6 months. that's way too long to wait it out. anyone have advice on what I should do?

I live in Indonesia using US PSN account, if I want to call Sony, should I call to US support for help?

Interestingly I just did a search on EBay and the UK was the only place I could find them. I'll edit this post with a link when I get home.

I personally love the "crystal" look the original Vita has. It makes the device feel so premium and so cool.

The 2000 uses normal plastic and looks more like a toy to me.

In the end it doesn't matter. If my Vita breaks I'll buy the model that is cheaper. I'm not going to waste my time hunting a 1000 model, especially if that means spending more money in the end.

Yes. If I were you, I'd call US support and tell them you're from the US and using a US account. Otherwise, they're just going to jerk you around.

It's slowed down a ton ever since it hit around the 40k mark so i'm not too sure if it'll hit 50k, but I really hope it does.

It's probably worth noting that it might revert back to $80 on launch. Some PSN pre-orders do it at a discounted price but never mention it which can be annoying if you assume that's the normal price for it and wait.
 
Can you remove and reapply screen protectors?
I got the one from Hori recently that covers most of the front of the Vita but didn't notice that I applied it slightly asymmetrical to the edges.
I know you can get the protector easily off the screen with some sticky tape to clean dust, so my idea was to use 4 strips of sticky tape on the corner and carefully peel it off on one side until it's completely off, only holding on the stips to keep the backside of the protector clean and put it back the same way reverse.
Does this work?
It's not that bad and not very noticeable, only if you know it and stare on the edges and I don't want to screw it up to have to buy a new one, but if it's fixable I would rather do that.

Those flying manta rays are awful. Like the worst things I've ever found in the game. They're hard as hell to kill, see you from really far, their arrow follow you and there are A LOT in the are you visit after killing that Reaper. I can't fight against the other baddies because I keep getting hurt by those arrows.

Thief's ring. It's obligatory for that level.

They're also not particularly hard to kill, you can probably kill them in two hits using magic.

I'd change your PSN password if I were you.

Calling them will be an option, or send an email to their support team.

Yeah, I love my OLED. I still like the grooveless, weighty, solid design better, but as the years go on and I see a few more mura pocks here and there, I know eventually I'll want a new one... it'll probably be the slim by then, 'cause pristine OLEDs will probably be $1000 in 5 years or so.

If I had the $$$ to throw around right now, I'd already have a secondary slim just 'cause.

Edit: They updated icons with PS+ discounts to say what percent you save on games, maybe that's why it was going slow before.

Knight user here. I think I've been using that ring for most of the game but I may unequip it a while ago when I had my inventory full. I'll see

I have Shield + Bow / Lance + Falchion (it has Magic damage).

I'm mostly leveling up Strength and Dexterity (it's what I need to use better bows and weapons). I leveled up Resistance a little (to improve my Equip Weight) and Vitality.

I'm wondering if I should improve my "Faith" a little since Miracles are useful even with a melee build (I have the return to nexus one equipped since the archstone fragments are not that easy to find). I may be interested in the healing spell since lately I've been eating more herbs that I get but I have a lot of PM restoring items.

I may get a PlayStation TV when it launches here. The standalone device (since I already have a Vita and a DS3). A second Vita doesn't seem like such a worthwhile purchase for me, so I can't imagine how my parents would react if I got it xD

Hopefully once the PSTV launches they'll update firmware in order to make PSVita account system similar to how it works in PS3/4

as Prelude already pointed out.
 
Anyone know if the exclusive unlock you get in inFamous: First Light through having Second Son would require you to have the disc still or would it detect the save?

'cause I want to trade Second Son in to Gamestop to get TLOU Remastered for £9.99

Yeah, aside from buying games for the system, wanting to get a PS TV later this year is another reason why I wouldn't want to or be able to just frivolously buy a second Vita any time soon. I probably won't get a slim til Vita is over.

Isn't it just a Fetch costume (with extra adjustments so you can play Second Son as her) in Second Son and there's no bonus for First Light?

I could be wrong of course.

Same here, but I'd be okay with that if it meant I could create some video content and promote the console. Too often do I find myself starting a game (especially ones that aren't yet out officially) and saying "Damn, this would make an excellent video."

There's a possibility. It would be really cool because Crescent Moon made a lot of Unity 3D games which would fit greatly on Vita.


They definitely acknowledged the existence of the console, though. The Deer God has a stretch goal for Vita (though it's extremely unlikely it will reach it)

Ravensword wasn't very well received when it was released on Steam, but I guess that's what happens when you have so many better options on the PC as opposed to systems with fewer options like iOS and Vita. Shadowgun wasn't made by Madfinger and not Crescent Moon, by the way.

You're right! Sorry.. for some reason I thought it was made by them... I somewhat "merged" Madfinger and CMG in my mind, in fact I was thinking about that Samurai 3D game (which was made by Madfinger as well)

Looking into it more it seems like the Fetch costume is a bonus for pre-ordering (which is odd seeing as how you can't pre-order on the EU store but can on the US one) and that you do get content for one or both of the games for having both. There's conflicting statements on it on different sites though.

I guess asking Suckerpunch directly on Twitter would get a definite answer on what's happening.

That'd be neat if it does happen. The Vita's lacking in WRPGs and it'd be nice to have a decent one on it.
 
In the EU store there are some "hidden" offers, for example Real Boxing for less than 2 € and Shinobido 2 for less than 5€(sorry i don't remember actual prices)

It would be cool, i wonder how many IOS developers know about Vita and how many of them know that indie games usually sell well on it.
 
Will Shinobido 2 make sense having not played the PSP/PS2 ones or is it best to invest in playing those two before tacking it? I could track down the PSP one but the PS2 one is probably a no go due to having no SDTV anymore.
