i have 3 codes to share for ps4 version. i'm looking for anyone that has both consoles that wants to swap codes for one of my ps4 codes and i'd like an xbox one code...

Sorry if anyone has already asked, but do we know when on the 17th we can get our codes? I don't really want to do the EU account thing and I have crappy internet so the sooner I can start the 8 hour download the better. 12:01 a.m. or Sony time and sometime midafternoon?
When Bungie employees wake up, move their a** to the office and click on the "send download codes" buttons (it exist, i can prove it, but i'm not going to do it).
All you need to do is to calculate the hours difference (timezone) between your country and BungieLand.

Trying to decide if I want to put my faith in Bungie releasing the codes at a decent time so I don't spend the entire first day of the beta looking at a progress bar or just make an EU account. Not releasing the codes until the 17th is a terrible idea.
I kind of want to go Titan just because I think it's going to be the rarest player type you see. The Alpha was all Warlocks and a few Hunters for me.

As a Hunter, i agree we need more Titans in our army, they're helpful and strong
but not as cool than Hunters.

Will the beta and the full game have more weapon types? In the alpha, the weapons had different stats but they all followed a similar type. For example, Semi-Autos all had a similar shape.
Someone looked through one of the Bungie.net page's source code and saw some mention of 25 cards, so potentially - it's been ages since the last card drop though (GamesCom last year I think?)

The Xbox One Beta footage showed an old assault rifle. I guess it's from an intro/tutorial mission, before your Guardian dies and gets revived by his Ghost years/decades/centuries later (?)
We also need some "alien animal" in the "free roam" session. You're not gonna make me believe there is no sign of life on Earth except the remaining Guardians and the citizens living under The Traveler.

Melee weapons were briefly mentioned during early production. Some of the old art and even the Retro shirt feature swords. Not sure what happened to them, but they wouldn't be the first swords Bungie had added into an FPS...
